My 18 month old is getting pretty good at using a regular cup, but i still give her milk in straw cups to minimize spills.

I think around 2. At night, I would give him water in a sippy cup though since I didn't want it to spill when he was thirsty in the middle of the night.

She could use them by 18 months, but I still gave her cups with lids for on the go. Open cup with meals at a table.

She still needs practice with open cups. She is almost 20 months old!
