I gave birth on a Sunday and by Wednesday, despite feeding every 30 min or so, my milk still wasn't in. A nurse friend of mine said it should have been in and to get an LC stat. The LC came Thursday and got me a pump ASAP. With regular pumping sessions, it started coming in Friday and by Saturday I was totally engorged. I didn't need to supplement because I had a pretty good supply of colostrum to keep her satisfied until it came in.

On day 3 it came in. It was more like 2.5 days. Hope yours comes in soon for you!

Mine took about 4 days but no supplementing was necessary as she had only lost 4 ounces from her birth weight (7 lbs, 10 oz).
Hang in there!

Day 6 with my first and day 5 with my second. With my first he lost more than 10% of his body weight at his first appointment. I felt awful. He was screaming nonstop and we didn't know but he was just HUNGRY. We immediately started supplementing with formula but my milk came in the next day anyway. Then he packed on the pounds and he was fine.
With my second we supplemented with formula from the first hour, because she came out SCREAMING and did not stop until we gave her some formula. She sucked down 2 ounces and passed out. We still established breastfeeding by having her latch on first for every feeding on both sides then topping her off with formula.
One of my friends was going crazy because her milk wasn't coming in and she was so afraid it would never come in. It came in on day 10. Her OBGYN told her that one of her patients had her milk come in on day 21...!!

Yay!! My milk came in. At least I am 95% sure it is milk. Now I just hope she hasn't lost any more weight tomorrow at the doctors.

Day 4 with pumping. It was a huge difference. I woke up that day really engorged, and went and pumped 4 ounces of mature white milk. I think if you're just nursing, you might not actually be able to tell. But you're doing fine! You don't need to stress.

Mine came in about 3 days later. They were worried at her first ped appt, but not enough to suggest supplementing though. They did have me come in the next day for a weight check. They wanted her to gain a half ounce, byt since my milk came in that night she gained 5 ounces overnight! It's perfectly normal for it to take 5 days, and like pp said, newborn bellies are teeny tiny, so generally your colostrum is enough!

I had to supplement because she was small at birth (7 lb 7 oz), lost close to a pound, was really jaundiced, and couldn't stay awake to eat.
I'm wondering if this is why I never had a good supply...
If you do have to supplement, I would suggest pumping often to build up supply
