Just curious. I'm 46 hrs out so not concerned yet, but she's dropped 7% of her body weight so far so I'm hoping it'll come in soon...

Exactly three days. He was born at 8:30pm and my milk came in around almost 9pm on the third day. Haha

Just over a day for me. I was shocked since I was only 37 weeks, failed induction and then c-section. But I was also pumping since DD couldn't latch so I don't know if that helped it come in faster.

Day 4 in the morning/ late evening of day 3. I woke up engorged on one side and the next side followed a short while later. They do say with a c section it can take longer so I was expecting it might take longer than it did, but am glad it didn't.
Mine dropped 8% body weight by the time we left the hospital. Apparently 10% is fairly normal before it starts picking up again.

I believe I came home on Friday and my milk came in Sunday-- so day 4 days PP? it wasn't a lot- I never got truly engorged but I think that 4 days was the first day that actual milk instead of colostrum came out!

I thought my milk was in but I first experienced that engorged feeling on day 5 when I woke up. I think my colostrum was just gradually thinning out.

Day 5 for me. DS was dropping weight and was right at the threshold for needing to supplement and my milk came in the next day finally.

It was fast. I had to pump in the hospital, due to baby's blood sugar issues, and got out 30 ml, which was impressive (I had no idea). I would say it was fully in (like encouraged and huge boobs) by day three.

Middle of day 3.
I was happy it came in that fast given LO came at 37 weeks by emergency c-section after my placenta abrupted during an external cephalic version.

Update: my milk came in about two and a half days after she was born, which was about the same time it came in with Evan.

It never really "came in" as in I got engorged. I had low supply the whole time.
Baby #2 I will pump with a hospital grade pump from day 1 C-section or not.

DS1 - it never came in.
DS2 - day 3.
That being said, I never BF-ed, so I don't know if it would have come earlier or whatever had I tried.
