Around a year. Most likely after. It took a while to master holding it gently.

Around a year but at almost 14m, I don't trust him with one without supervision. The temptation to squeeze it all out is greater than the need for food!

She is actually almost there already at 9.5 months. She holds the top but I hold the bottom where the food is and have to keep her from squeezing too hard. I think if I just gave it to her, she would end up squeezing maybe 1/4 of it out on her self and manage to eat the rest. But I haven't tried it yet.

We are just about there at 11 months. I do still have to supervise though and help a little here and there.

He's getting there, at 11 months. We'll still have some squish accidents nowadays! In full disclosure, though, he doesn't get a lot of practice, we've used pouches maybe once every other week or so.

She can do it now at 9 months, but if she isn't really hungry the temptation to play with it is too strong.

Never. He would squeeze the whole thing out and think it was much more fun than eating.
