We will only actually write down contact numbers like day care and the pedi. Other than that we'll just verbally go over her schedule and likes/dislikes with my parents.

Not for DS anymore. I do with the dogs when they stay withy inlaws though lol

Yup. Every time. I feel a little silly, and it's probably a little insulting, but otherwise, I know things won't get done correctly. D has a routine that works for him.

i don't write instructions, but i verbally give them, but haven't done it much the last couple times. BUT since she's older and her routine is different now, the last few times grandmas have watched her, she hasn't gotten enough food (i don't know if they think she's existing on milk alone?!) or her diaper was totally weird or her nap was off.... so, next time i'm writing up some stuff!

Yep. I text them to my mom so she has them readily available. I probably go into too much detail but she likes to know her schedule.

I write out my best idea of a schedule/routines but then I tell them to do whatever works for them. I'm only particular about the food since we're trying to pinpoint allergies.

I do.... But it's more because lo cares, not me. Little things like "close the closest door before nap" is important to her because she cries if they're open, and when she is crying whoever watching her wouldn't know why because she wont tell them and just sit there and cry. I feel stupid writing that stuff down because I don't care about a door being open, but lo does.

I've never left her with anyone besides Dh for more than two hours. Even with Dh I'm like, ok she needs a nap at 1, then her bottle with this much milk, then ... Do you want me to write this down?? I might be controlling!!

We are leaving her with a babysitter when ergo to a weddig in a few weeks and I will be writing stuff down!

I will. We haven't left her with anyone yet, but I will have to next week (sob) so the instructions will be very thorough.

I haven't left him much but and only with my mom. I just tell her around when he will need to eat again and maybe what types of food.

When we do finally get a babysitter I think I'd leave a rough schedule of sleep times and eating times. I also think it is a good idea to let them know if any strong preferences in their routine.
