When your LO takes shorter than normal naps do you put them to bed earlier? Also, what is the earliest you have put your LO to sleep? LO has taken 3 30 minute naps today (ugh), and I know an early bedtime is most likely in order.

I do try to put her to bed earlier but only 30 mins at most. When she was a baby, the earliest we put her to bed was maybe 7 but her bedtime was always around 7:30.

Yes I do. I've done an hour earlier, depending on how cranky she gets.

I put her to bed when i sense she is getting tired to avoid getting to the overtired point. I Have put her to bed up to 1.5 hours early and she will typically still wake up at the same time, Max 45 mins earlier.

When LO was younger, bedtime was based on wake time. She could really only go 2-3 hours until she was 10 months old or so, so if her last nap ended at 3, she had to go to bed at 6. She would fight it but the alternative was a meltdown.
At about 12 months we could make it through the day on two 20 minute naps and keep our same 7:30 bedtime. Not that I ever want that! But it's happened and we made it surprisingly fine.
