I've been reading a lot of birth stories on the Birth Without Fear blog. Is there anywhere else that posts unmedicated birth stories?

Hmmmm I was part of a few natural/unmedicated birth groups where I was able to read stories...
Have you read Jen Kamel's hbac story?
http://vbacfacts.com/about/hbacbirth/
And thatwife's birthstory for t1?
http://thatwifeblog.com/2010/05/04/the-birth-of-t1-part-i/
I loved reading both of those! I also read my Ina May's book over & over but most of those stories are short & lacked the detail I wanted. Hmmm there's also the unmedicated ladies here.. I know there is a good handful of us! And here's the blog for one of the MW that attended my birth... I know she is also a doula so I'm not sure if *all* of them are unmedicated births but I'm sure they're all well advocated for!

If I can think of or find anywhere else I'll letcha know! =)

I read a lot of stories on blogs, heard stories from a group of mamas who all had natural births at home or birth centers, read Ina May's book and another favorite book was "Adventures In Natural Childbirth: Tales from Women on the Joys, Fears, Pleasures and Pains of Giving Birth Naturally."

@runsyellowlites: Your MW's blog is AWESOME! I just sent it to my doula too!

Check out Bring Birth Home! http://bringbirthhome.com/blog/ They're all home birth stories, but the details and feelings and sensations are all the same as any other unmedicated birth in any other setting.

I don't know about blogs, but all of Ina May's books were of enormous use to me. My baby needed extensive resuscitation after she was born. Since I had read so many of Ina May's stories about babies who needed a little help breathing at first, I didn't panic. Reading birth stories was probably the best thing I did to prepare.

@FarmWifeGina: The woman who started that blog (OMG Mom) deserted it, and even shut down her personal blog. So sad. I wish we could revive it!!
