I'd like to buy a couple of nursing tanks or tops when our lo gets here. Where is a good place to shop for them?

For nursing tanks, a friend of my loves these ones from rumina. She uses them at work to pump hands free and to nurse when she's at home. I bookmarked them for myself for the future

I've also heard good things about the bravado ones and the ones from motherhood. don't know if it's true or not, but I seem to remember reading that the ones from target run too big around the outer fabric with a too small support band under the bust. Liz Lang for target seems to have added a bunch of nursing items to the line, I walked by a super cute nursing dress there the other day!

I bought a couple cute nursing tops from Old Navy (although they don't have a very large selection). I didn't like the Bravado tanks but I think that is because the place I got them at sized me wrong so they were too small. Since I don't really feel supported in shelf bras (which most nursing tanks have), I plan to make some nursing tanks this time using the instructions on this website (http://refashionmama.wordpress.com/2011/12/14/refashion-tank-top-to-nursing-tank/); I bought the tanks for $6 each so if it doesn't work out I'm not out much money.

@purrpletulips: that's such a great link you posted! Totally bookmarking it for future reference! They sell something like that but it's probably more $$.
*edit to add: the one you can buy to attach to your own bra is called undercover mama & it's $25, so your $6 version is WAY better!

@MrsBird-yep the undercover mama tanks are very similar but much more expensive. I found some other links but like that one the best because it doesn't require much sewing skill or a sewing machine (although I do have some of both I'm a little lazy in the DIY arena).

I bought a few at Target but I didn't like them because i wanted more support.. I love the Bravado nursing tops I bought from their website...more specific sizing and awesome bra support!

I have the target nursing tanks and they have worked great for me. I wear one almosr every day now for pumping at work and i lived in them during maternity leave. I think they are the gillian omalley brand.

I can never find them at target. I bought a few from motherhood maternity that seem pretty comfortable.

I have motherhood and target tanks. The motherhoods are better but the targets are cheaper. So most of mine are target now.

I just went to a trendy teen clothing store and got some tube tops that match with my bra straps, and some wrap dresses and faux-wraps that I can easily pull the sleeve/boob panel to the side.
