I'm trying to decide if I need to invest in nursing tops/tanks or just nursing bras. What do/did you use?

I have a few but I haven't used them yet. It has just been easier to take off my shirt.

I usually just wear a regular camisole/cami (one of those tank top undershirts) under all my shirts. It's not specially designed for nursing but I always buy them when they're on sale even before I was pregnant so I had a bunch. So far they haven't gotten stretched out from not unhooking a strap but if they do oh well. As for nursing tops I just wear a v-neck or pick up my top layer so the cami is still covering my belly.

I have 2 nursing bras. I wear them when I go out.
When I'm home, I wear nursing camis and .. I don't know what they're called, but they're like nursing sports bras but not really. they're a lot softer and have less support. picked some up at motherhood and macy's.

With Charlie, I bought 2 of the bravado nursing tanks -- all the moms in my mom group had them too. They're great in the early days when you're out and nursing frequently.
At home I'm usually just wearing a medela sleep bra and walking around naked. Or button down shirts are convenient.
I'm still a newbie to the nursing in public thing, but I'll be wearing a nursing bra when I need to go out and feed Olive.

I love my nursing tanks. I use them exclusively. At home they are all I wear and when I am out, they cover my stomache while feeding. I have a few motherhood maternity ones and probably 6 Target ones. I bought a few nursing tanks and sports bras but the whole naked part is difficult.

I didn't the first time but I might get a few and try it out this time.

I have lived in nursing tanks for the last two years. I don't like exposing my stomach, and get too cold when using just a nursing bra. Plus, pre-baby I was always wearing a white tank anyways.
I use the Target nursing tanks, but I REALLY need to upgrade mine. I have one from Motherhood that is so supportive and doesn't cut into my back. If you want to try some out, I suggest the Target ones because they're so cheap.

I have worn nursing tanks almost daily for more than a year and I still wear them when I know I'll need to nurse out and about (I recently stopped pumping.) they're so easy and the Target ones are great because they're longish. Target also carries one that is slimming! Great for layering and they look good, not weird

Yes I use nursing tanks by Target (3) and Glamourmom (2). I also have nursing bras from Motherhood Maternity and Pea in a Pod (about 5 total). I also have a nursing t-shirt by the company called Boob.

I always wear a nursing bra!! But I bought a nursing tank & a few nursing tops but rarely use them. I usually just wear a boy tank or regular tank top under my shirt when I go out & lift that up when I unhook my nursing bra.
