I pump in the bathroom at work. Not my ideal location but a mom's gotta do what a mom's gotta do!

bathroom at work - luckily it's a single, they keep a chair in here for me. i'm pumping right now! i'm on a laptop at work so I usually bring it in with me.

conference room at work
there are no windows, I can't lock the door but I put a sign that says do not enter please :), and I sit with my back to the door.

When I pumped it was in the bathroom, the worst was when people would knock on the door interrupting me.

Lucky to have my own office at work, and then at home as well sometimes after LO goes to bed.

I voted "storage room" even though my LO isn't here. But I'm a school librarian, and I have a back storage room (that's pretty organized and not dark or dank) and I assume next year I'll turn off the main library lights to signal I'm unavailable and go back into the locked storage room.
Of course, I still have to get this approved by my boss. But I'd rather be in my own library storage room than in a random staff bathroom.

I'm not sure where you live ~ but in California it's state law for your work place to provide you with a sanitary location to pump privately - and bathrooms don't count! I would look into your rights if I were you. Of course if you're doing it by choice than that's different Just looking out for a fellow mom's comfort!

@rrachael: haha it IS awful! But I totally thought it was a law too in NY State. But another Bee pointed me to a state site that said's it's not.

I pump in my classroom at school. It's definitely not as bad as it could be. If I needed to pump during a class (which I don't), I could use a counselor's office, but the office is really far away...glad I don't have to!
