Next week I want to take a trip from our tiny town to a nearby city to go shopping. LO will be at daycare, so I will need to pump once, maybe twice while I'm there. I'm totally lost about how to do that.
Are there any stores/restaurant chains that usually have a plug in a bathroom stall or another place to pump? Or should I buy a battery pack/car adaptor for my PISA and pump in the car?

I do it in the car, in the backseat. Or while I drive, haha. I have a Freestyle and can pump anywhere though.

I've pumped in my car, but my car has a standard plug. It was kind of a pain and not super private since people could see in through the windshield. I would look for a mall with a mothers room or a Macy's or Nordstroms. Their bathrooms typically have a small sitting area near the entrance and I've seen people pumping there.

There are stores that have pumping rooms, and the mall itself may have one. I know Buy Buy Baby has one, and Nordstrom's.

I've done it in the car, the airport bathroom, a stall at a basketball game, the bathroom of a conference center, under a nursing cover on a plane. I have a freestyle though and don't need a plug.

I agree with all the previous posters. I've done it in the car, Nordstrom, and Buy Buy Baby (those stores are the best).

I bought battery pack and car adaptor for just in case, so if your pumping times coincide with just getting there or about to leave, then I'd do it in the car.

I'd buy a battery pack just in case... that way you could pump anywhere, even without a plug. Many malls have mothers rooms now, so even if you don't go to Nordtrom, you can check out your shopping center's website or guest services to see if they have one.

I've done it in the car with the battery pack, but I'd get the car adapter for sure. I actually bought one but it turns out that my car (which used to be a rental) is missing the fuse for the cigarette lighter/car adapter! I guess they took it out when it was a rental to make sure people wouldn't use it to light cigarettes.

I think Nordstrom is the best! But also any baby store (buy buy baby, babies r us) is good too. I've also done the backseat of my car, but it has a standard plug.
