If both parents are working full-time jobs, what will your child do before and after school? We're not sure yet but schools around here offer pre and post care. We'll probably stagger our hours so we can put her on the bus (or drive her to school) and then she will stay in aftercare until we're home.

I teach preschool/elementary and DH teaches high school, so our kids will likely hang out in our classrooms and then go home with us.

I plan on being a SAHM at that time. I think even with the after school care it will be hard for us to juggle since there are also a lot of other breaks (winter, spring, etc) so it seems like a lot of time when you have to arrange alternate care. So we hope to be in a financial situation where I don't work by then. Or at least not work in my current job that's for sure.

If I start working when lo is in school, it will be part time so I can be home with lo.

I plan on staying home until our kids are out of school. I'll volunteer or work part time and will pick them up from school.

Don't have kids yet, but my mom says her retirement plan is our babies

They'll go to either a post-care program or have someone (a neighbour?) watch them for 1-2 hours until I get home.
OR, I'll take all of this back and be a SAHM! Who knows??

If I start working again, I'll try to find something with hours like 6a-2p or 7a-3p (not unusual for a nurse).
