I liked bottles because it was easy, but I didn't like that I have to wash all the bottles.
I wasn't a big fan of purees. Even though I'd make them in big batches so I always had them ready, I'd forget to defrost them. And I didn't like that I had to do all of the work in feeding her.
Now she's onto finger foods and so far I'm loving it. It keeps her entertained to eat when we do, and it's easy because I can just feed her some of what I'm having.

I liked the first couple of months best. Feeding solids/table food can be stressful. I worry about her getting all the essential nutrients, wonder if she's bored eating the same things over and over again, my floors hate me because she throws food when she's full or doesn't like what I've given her..

I don't like the first few months of breastfeeding (even though I love the bonding) but I never feel like I'm producing enough milk to fill them up. It's stressful and painful to adjust to.
I liked puree's and trying new combination of fruits and veggies.
I didn't like finger foods especially when DS would choke.
In between finger foods and actually eating real foods was difficult because he wouldn't eat much, just nibbles.
Now that he's 3, meal time is awesome. He eats salad, his favorite pizza is veggie delite, he loves yogurt and fruits! And he eats a lot faster than he use to so meals aren't an hour long.

Probably months 4-6, when he was EBF but really efficient at it. I'm also enjoying table foods, but he's so, so, so hungry that it can be stressful keeping enough food in front of him.

The first month was hard for me, I was balancing breastfeeding, with pumping and formula. When I was exclusively breastfeeding I kinda of liked it because I didnt have any bottles to wash and didnt have to worry about how much she was eating but my nipples were so sore, and I was always feeling icky with milk leaking and having to wear nursing pads. I think I will like when LO starts solids

Solids were fun at the beginning. I also ended up disliking purees. I always forgot to thaw them out. We're getting more into finger foods and I like it so much better. I do worry that he isn't getting enough though. We're still doing smooth purees. DS won't eat chunky purees at all. He cried yesterday when I tried to feed him something new. We're hoping to wean him off of purees soon.

@Mrs. Yoyo: @Mrs. Bee: I also agree with yo-yo. Between 4-6 months was soooooooooooo easy! Breastfeeding had become so easy and it was so convenient! I could go anywhere and just feed her.
