We want to get one to keep downstairs for sleeping and (perhaps) changing.
Which pack and play do you use?

We have a discontinued one we got for clearance at babies r us. I think it's called Sleepy Safari or something like that. We also have a hand-me-down Graco one, just a basic one with bassinet and changing table attachments but no newborn napper or anything. That one has been fantastic too. We kept one in our room and one downstairs for changing and a few naps. So handy!!

We have the Laguna Bay model. We never used the changing table, newborn napper or vibration and sound functions. I wish we bought a more basic version!

We have the Bright Starts Ingenuity Briarcliff one. Comes with the bassinet/changing table, and the mattress can be on the bottom or suspended at an incline in the middle. Shes only used it 3 times though, we never left it set up. We never used the changing table/bassinet so I cant speak for that. We only use it when we travel, but for that, I like it

Can you believe I never really used our Park n Play unless we were going out and needed LO to sleep somewhere. I've never used it in my own house (maybe the fact the his room was on the same floor)
Now this time around, I might use it... just when she starts being more active.
We have a Chicco brand. Nothing spectacular... and a pain to put away.

We got the Baby Bjorne Travel Crib. It opens and closes easily and the mattress sits on the floor not the poles like others. I also like that it is slightly concave. This makes it harder for him to climb out of. It is expensive but I am so glad we got that one.

I have a basic Graco one with just a bassinet. At my inlaws we have a Graco one that came with the changing table attachment. We were only able to use the changing table attachment for the first 4 or so months before DS outgrew the weight limit.
I like them both and DS still sleeps in them on weekends when we are at my inlaws or at my parents' home.

Same as Livsmama... Bright Starts Ingenuity playard, but ours is in the Pembrook design. I love it! I did a lot of research and am glad I got this one since the Graco ones tend to be so pricey... I love that the changing table is very, very stable and can be easily swept to the side if you want (if you do this often, just put the organizer on the opposite side). I also like that it's gender neutral and it blends in nicely in our living room.

i got it on super clearance at target for like $50. if you plan on leaving it up for a while, i think the graco ones are fine. if you were going to us traveling with if often, i think there are better options as the graco is heavy and kind of a pain. i didn't realize that some of the graco ones have a changing table that folds out of the way and some it's stationary- ours is stationary & i much prefer the fold away kind. if your going to use it as a changing spot, i like having the organizer attachment to leave diapers/wipes/etc in. we don't have the napper insert, but i haven't missed it. the mobil on ours looked kind of lame to me, but she LOVES it!

I wish I'd snatched one up on clearance! I'm going to hunt for awhile and then probably buy closer to when baby comes. I'm leaning toward the Bright Starts one, because it seems so affordable!

I was just reading the guide on here about travel cribs and we have this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001GQ2PLE/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=hellobee-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B001GQ2PLE
we never use it in the house, but could. it's great for travel, doesn't have much "stuff" going on so it's easy to pack and take with.

@rachiecakes: We have the same one!!! We use it for travel too, and I actually can fit it into a suitcase! My parents bought it at Costco for something like $40 and I just packed it into one of our suitcases and brought it home with us.

We have a Cosco one, I think it cost around $50. It is smaller, so it doesn't take up a ton of room, and we use it every day.
