We're down to nursing 2x/ day and one bottle of pumped milk. Sometimes I totally forget to nurse her in the middle of the day! Like today, I didn't remember until 3pm. I think she would be okay if we totally dropped that one, but I'm not ready... Even if I do forget. It makes me sad because nursing was such a huge part of the day for so long, and now we're forgetting about it

How old is your LO? I always wonder how the dropped sessions work but it sounds like something I would do when the time comes: just forget unless she reminds me!

@birdofafeather: She was 11 months when I wrote this. She completely dropped the mid-day nursing for a couple of weeks, but she has now picked it back up again. I'm hoping that she'll forget about it when she gets the hang of whole milk.

I totally remember with my first, just putting him on into bed and then later being like CRAP!! I forgot his evening nurse! Obv he didn't mind.
