Thinking of buying one for my oldest (7yo girl) ... other furniture is white. Anyone have one they love? I’m overwhelmed by the choices!

We have one from IKEA that has two built-in drawers, which I love. Don't know the name and I am about to go to bed.

My DD has a very modern, simple, white bed frame from a company called Rafa Kids. They are in the Netherlands but ship worldwide. My son (8 yo) actually has the same one in 'whitewash' and we got it when he was 2.5.

There is a super cute bed that we got on Walmart.com. They sell the same bed on Wayfair under a different name. You can buy just a single bed, or you can add a trundle, or you can get 2 beds because it converts to a bunk bed. Tons of options.
It's the Lillian collection--looks like most of it is out of stock now, but it usually comes in again. And It's on wayfair under a different name if you search white beds there. It's cheap but real wood and sturdy--we've had it almost 3 years and no issues thus far.

My daughter has this and I love it, we got it at a local furniture place for pretty cheap, a lot of places sell it under different names. But it’s very sturdy and the back of the headboard is finished (a lot of the cheap stuff we looked at the back wasn’t nice looking). I think it is a pice that will last v all my other cheap furniture if you like the look of this bed but want something different try searching panel beds - that’s how I came across this

@Anagram: do you have the matching dresser or nightstand? That looks really cute and I’m surprised it’s wood at that price! The reviews sound like it’s a cream more than a bright white? That’s actually my preference because we have a slightly creamy white bed already.
@bhbee: I really love the PBK Catalina no footboard bed. But it’s expensive so I probably wouldn’t splurge there.

@agold: we have the ikea hemnes daybed (in a different room) and I love it for my 4yo. The storage is amazing.

@DesertDreams88: @bhbee: what do you actually store in the under bed drawers? They seem so big and unwieldy I don’t think I’d use them much, I guess maybe for out of season clothes? The current bed we have had two gigantic drawers under it, but they are off track too. I just don’t see myself using them.

@Foodnerd81: that is a good idea for clothes (although my kids might take them out and annoy me). Ours are a catch all for toys. My son has two drawers - one has dinosaurs and transformers and vehicles and one has stuffed animals and dress up. And the baby has one as a catch all. They really fit a ton of stuff and are deep enough to hold fairly big things.

@Foodnerd81: blankets and sheets, as well as stuffed animals Also on is used for our greeting card & gift bag storage... odd I know, but it works.

@DesertDreams88: I keep gift wrap stuff under my own bed in bins, makes sense to me. But I wouldn’t want it k the kids room because they would mess with it, and I usually wrap while they are asleep.

@Foodnerd81: I don’t have the dresser. We already had an ikea dresser and nightstand. It is a slight off-white, not a true bright white. It matches our IKEA off white dresser almost exactly.

@Anagram: which ikea dresser? Hemnes by any chance? I know that comes in two whites now but I’m also hoping that the more off white would work. I have a big one that I really like.
@bhbee: sorry to be off topic!

@Foodnerd81: Yes, it's a Hemnes! I'll try to find a pic in a bit, but I only have night-time pics, so it's very yellowy overhead light. It's not really a true representation of the color.

@Foodnerd81: no problem!! Actually I have a white hemnes dresser (the lacquer type finish one which may be brighter?) in the room I was asking for this new bed so it’s good info!

@Anagram: I really like this one! We are going to measure for our new setup this weekend and I may be placing an order.

@bhbee: then this might be helpful

I think the semi gloss finish is slightly creamier (closer to the bed @Anagram: posted), according to this link!

@bhbee: @Foodnerd81: They are bunk beds w trundle now, but we used to have them as two twin beds. It’s a convertible set. These are the only pictures I could find, and they are taken at night, so they’re all more yellowy than it looks in real life. But you can get an idea of what it looks like. It matches the slightly off-white toybox we have from IKEA, and the slightly off-white cube storage we have.
