We've got a pretty big contingency of January 2013 mamas and babies! I don't think any of the babies share D's actual birthday, though.

@StbHisMrs: my daughter was born 10/25/11. And @Mrs. Bee daughter is an October 2011 baby.

I also have July 2009 twins and a November 2008. I'm not sure if they match up with anyone.

We have a great group of January mommas (with some early and later babes) but my Row does have a HB twin in @Heartsnsunshine: 's boy! I knew there was someone the same day as her but I had to look it up on our due date thread! Haven't seen her much around these parts though! Hope they're doing well!

@Mrs. Train: I think my DD may be the closest on age to your oldest.. She's at the tail end of August 08!

@StbHisMrs: he was so close to being a 9/11 baby so we were honestly a little relieved.

The Jan 2013 moms are great. A couple of us fell into Feb though. Like @ Allison said, herself, @ladyfingers and I all had our LO's on Feb 2nd. (crazy enough it is my Birthday too) So we have Groundhog Day babies!!!

E is one of the many May 2012 babies. His birthday is the 19th, I think @winniebee 's T is probably the closest.

@T-Mom: that's pretty close! I'm not ready to be the mom of a 5 year old. It's pretty crazy, where did the time go?

@rachiecakes and @mynoahbear: I have a Dec '11 baby. I posted a bit on the Feb '12 board since that was my due date, but we ended up with a NYE baby. Isn't Mrs. Stroller's baby a Dec '11 baby?

another March 2012 mama here with @honeybee, @mrs twine @lavender and @tequiero21. I really hope to get into a super active due date board with my next one, but it's fun seeing so many mama's with little ones around the same age

I know I'm a few weeks behind @bao and I think a couple ahead of @sorrycharlie. I think also... @skirpa @purpletulips and a few others. I don't think there are that many Sept '12 babies.

@Corduroy: oh our babies are probably the closest then - join the feb 2013 mama's thread! i'm kind of dreading the upcoming 4 month sleep regression.

I have an early January 2012 model:)

We are closest to @babyboecksmom since we were due around the same time. It was nice to share the last few weeks of pregnancy with another mama to be.

Too many mama's to tag, I pretty much follow the Nov/Dec '11 and the Feb '12 mamas since we fall right in between the two groups.

@LittleFox: Yay Christmas Eve! When they're older they'll have friends to commiserate with! (Everybody keeps telling me that her birthday will stink for her when she's older, but we'll do our best to make it about her and not the holiday).

  27. LittleFox

    kiwi / 673 posts

@MaisyMay: Don't listen to the haters! I have family with birthdays on Christmas Eve and the day before. Sometimes it's a little annoying for them scheduling parties, but they both like their birthdays just fine! We just do our best to, like you said, make it about their birthdays. It's not hard, either. Just make sure to get birthday wrapping paper, birthday cards, cake, and separate gifts. Some people will always pull the "just one small gift not bigger than I'd normally get them for Christmas" move, but the biggest issue with that is comparing to siblings (like if the gift giver gives a sibling two gifts for their bday and Christmas), but 2 of the 3 adults I know with these birthdays are well adjusted about it and no longer compare (one still compares her gift to siblings in her 30s, but she's competitive anyway and would likely do the same if her birthday was in June).

@T-Mom: @Mrs. Train: @cyndistar3: I think all our eldest kids were born in 2008? Kindergarten is just a few months away for everyone, yes?

My youngest is a July '11 baby, so close to @T-Mom, @Artbee, @beasmiles and @Rubies, I think... There are a few other summer '11 babies out there too, I think!

Today is Baby P's 1st birthday! Who is closest to her day? She was supposed to be June 7th.

  38. SAHM0811

    grapefruit / 4049 posts

@Mrs. Train: yes I agree... I feel like she was just a baby the other day and now, she's a big KID! That's great he's starting TK soon... And with a late birthday, he'll be very ready next year! It is amazing how much they learn between 4-5yo. So far 5 yo is my favorite age. I've heard 5-7 yo are the "golden years" of childhood!

@Mrs. Train: @SAHM0811: I registered DD for public Kinder last week and it totally stressed me out.. the large school, the school nurse explaining what they do with kids with peanut allergies (there is an allergy table, sniff)... I registered her as a "just in case" since I plan to keep her in Montessori for one more year but still, I'm not ready for this!

@SAHM0811: I have a November 2008 baby so no kindergarten yet But then again I am probably going to home school for a while.
