Have you used any creams? You may want to get a prescription strength from your doctor. They should have started shrinking by now. You might try some home remedies too

25 months PP here and they're worse than ever. Sorry. The suppositories help a lot.

I think they are on the inside? Would creams/baths/etc. work for internal hems?

@rahlyrah: a bath always helps things OK, maybe this is TMI but sometimes I squeeze the cheeks together and it helps a little.

I got internal ones and my OB gave me a prescription 3 step kit that works wonders! It's called Analpram (omg haha) but it really worked.

Go to the doctor. LO is 17 months old and they come and go. Got a prescription from my GP.

7 months pp here, and no end in sight. Doesn't help that I'm also 16 weeks pregnant. I figure I'll deal with it all after this kid is out, lol.

Thank you for asking this! I'm 3 months pp and mine are as angry as ever. It's horrific.

My OB told me they would never really go away, but would come and go as in flare ups. Unfortunately I've found this to be true

I've had really bad hems all pregnancy - internal and external :(. I've been way past home remedies for a while. What's worked for me to manage the pain is daily stool softener (colace or prunes + fiber gummies), hydrocortisone suppositories (yes gross but totally worth if when you hurt) and a lidocaine cream for external application.

@rahlyrah: Mine are internal, and I can tell you that a bath will not work. You need some kind of over the counter or prescription suppository.

At about 2 months pp, I had them so bad I went to the doctor. I got a course of suppositories. About a month ago, the same doctor prescribed a cream for me for adult diaper rash when the weather was sticky.
