I agree as long as LO is getting naps its great and now the nanny will have friends for future playdates. Our nanny did the same thing with our son taking him to the park for "playdates" every day. Now that he's older (17 months) we make sure that if they are at all near our apartment he should be napping in his crib but if they are at a friend's house (20 minute walk) its ok for him to take his afternoon nap in his stroller. I'd say 4 of 5 days each week he naps in his crib and that other day doesn't really disrupt his schedule too much.
