I wanted to bring our Baby Bjorn travel crib today but DH told me to leave it because it would be embarrassing and over the top. We were at our friend's house for almost seven hours and my baby slept on their couch for almost 3 hours. She slept fine but I had to keep the other kids away from her!

When this happens with us I usually wear her and let her nap in the ergo.

My SO's cousin always has his daughter's packnplay with him and its come in handy quite a bit. They pull it out and use it anywhere they go.

Yes, when LO was little we took our pack and play or used their pack and play and she would nap there. We even brought out sound machine and video camera and monitor. Now that she's on one nap we always nap at home

@autumnlove: I'm researching the crap out of baby gear even though I'm not yet pregnant. I do like how the baby Bjorn travel crib seems so easy to transport. Do you like it and feel it is worth the expense?

@MrsMcD: The BB crib is >>>> a PNP if you are actually traveling and having to take it up, put it down, etc. the other is fine if you just want something to leave at grandmas.

i havent really been at a lot of friends houses for long periods of time that he would need a nap. although recently i was in this situation and was really wishing i had the travel crib with me. even to just use as a play pen so i could put him down since her house wasn't baby proofed
