So I'm interviewing nannies for mornings when I need to go back to work (probably in the next few weeks, even if DS2 isn't home from the hospital yet, boo), and we just met one who (apparently) is a package deal with her homeschooled 13 & 10 year old daughters. I realized this when all three of them showed up at my house for the interview. Besides it being a bit off putting that she wasn't clear about it, how would you feel about this?
She has a ton of experience from newborns on up, and although she hasn't worked with g tubes yet (like DS2 has) she's willing to learn, has CPR certs, etc. DS1 had fun playing with her daughters as we talked, and they are both very sweet and well behaved. I know there was a thread the other day about someone wondering if they could nanny with their infant along for the ride... I'm inclined to think that since the children are older, they should need less of her attention, and may be able to help play with DS1 if she's busy with DS2. She said they can do their schoolwork independently. My MIL would come to take over in the afternoon until I got home from work. Just wondering if anyone had some blaring cons to this situation?
