Two neighbouring towns offer a Wildflower School, which sounds amazing to me. It is (from my understanding) a multi-age classroom set up based loosely on Waldorf/Montessori principles but is part of the public school system (publicly funded and meets provincial educational standards). The kids go four days a week and are home schooled on the fifth. It's much closer to what I would want for my kids and I'm kind of jealous of my brother for having that option (hopefully, she's not old enough yet) for his niece.
Almost enough that I'd want to move...
Probably I should just see if there's enough interest to start a program here. I mean, I do have 2.5 years before TG starts kindergarten.
Would you move if you could get your child into a school you love?
