Back story: Daycare has provided cots and/or mats for the kids to sleep on, but we bring in extra mats if we want.
This week, I kept receiving notes on DD's daily sheet saying that we need to bring in nap mats. I thought it was strange because she has a nap mat. I finally asked about it yesterday, and they said that their mats/cots are old, so they're having the parents buy new mats for their kids to sleep on.
These mats are $30+ each.

Am I in the wrong to believe that the daycare should provide the mats, and not the parents? I mean, what are we going to do with the mat after she's out of daycare, except to donate it to the daycare.... right?
What would you do? Would you just buy it or would you push back and ask that the daycare provide them?
