Right now, the kids are best friends, and spend huge amounts of time playing together! A huge portion of that credit goes to our younger daughter, who is just so forgiving of her brother's behavior at times. She really sees him through rose-colored glasses! I hope she doesn't take them off for a long while.

It depends on the day but LO1 is pretty mean to her little sister half of the time.

They are both. They've been bickering a lot this evening. I am taking a breather from them right now. I prepared their dinner plates and came upstairs.

@mrbee: ha! That's how D is, he just adores and worships K and doesn't even get upset when K is blatantly mean to him. I hope he learns to stand up for himself soon!

@Mrs. Tiger: I hope Olive stands up for herself too, but it could be a mixed blessing if she does! They just play so well together now... I worry about any change in the dynamic!!

Best friends, although sometimes it amazes me that they never get upset with each other despite the scratching, toy stealing, kicking, climbing on top of, and hair pulling. Is this what it means to be twins? I hope they're always so tolerant of each other, but I know that's wishful thinking. @mrbee: Were you and your twin always best friends, or did you go through mortal enemy phases too?

@twodoghouse: We never went through a mortal enemy phase! But we weren't always best friends... that really consistently started in high school.

Best friends, for the most part. The older one likes to take on the "mommy" role - she's very tolerant of little fingers shoved in her lunch and her lovey going in her little sister's mouth. the younger one idolizes her big sister.
Every once in a while the older one tells me to "take her away from me" (her being little sis), so I sense some turmoil coming!

Still best friends and hoping it stays that way for a while. They're at a fun stage where they are starting to play with each other. I was mortal enemies with most of my siblings, but they are a lot older than me.
