    @MaryM: That makes sense, when I use it again in the future I will look into using that, thanks!

    @MaryM: Thanks for the tip! I changed the Saturday/Sunday temps based on the .2 "rule" and they fall in a reasonable area. Friday I forgot the baby kept waking up so I couldn't get an accurate temp. I kept that one out.

    @FliegepilzHut: I'm sure DH won't argue to one more night. Lol. I'm clearly going to need some wine. Hahha

    @HappyBluebird: I find all of this so interesting...though I think it's making me more anal, which is scary! lol I have no idea how people get so precise, especially with sleep! I can't help if the baby wakes me up, you know?

    Sorry to bombard the board with my charts I'm trying SO hard this month to remain positive, but it's so difficult!!!!

  4. HappyBluebird

    clementine / 957 posts

    @ValentineMommy: Haha, I agree that it made me more anal about things, but I like charting. I feel like it gives me some kind of control in a situation where you don't have alot! I think that whenever we get to TTC again I may try to take a step back from the charts for a few months and see what happens. It may be hard for me to do that!

  5. MaryM

    pomelo / 5129 posts

    @ValentineMommy: No need to apologize! I love helping people with charts because I feel like charts have helped me so much!

    I know temping isn't for everyone, but it's one thing that I've found really has calmed me down. But I also don't already have kids, so the only thing that wakes me up is DH's snoring.

    The generally accepted rule for waking up is to temp early if you don't think you'll get a solid 4 hours sleep before your regular temp time.

    @HappyBluebird: Last month was really hard for me. I told DH I was going to be laid back about it, and when we didn't get pregnant, I almost went off the deep end. Lol. I thought charting would give me a sense of control as well, which hopefully it will, when I understand what I'm doing! Haha.....actually, hopefully I get pregnant this cycle, and don't have to worry about it anymore

  7. ValentineMommy

    pomelo / 5791 posts

    @MaryM: I get up at 5am for work...I don't think I can do any earlier!! I think the only thing that will calm me down at this point is to be medicated, honestly. I just don't want to!

  8. MaryM

    pomelo / 5129 posts

    @ValentineMommy: Oh, I wasn't suggesting you wake earlier! But like, if your LO wakes you at 1 a.m. and you think you'll go back to sleep, then wait to temp. But if you get woken up at 3 a.m., go ahead and temp then.

  9. HappyBluebird

    clementine / 957 posts

    @ValentineMommy: Yes hopefully you never have to get the hang of charting!! Fingers crossed for you this cycle!

  10. MaryM

    pomelo / 5129 posts

    I agree with @HappyBluebird: !

    Maybe see if you can get the hang of it this month or if it still drives you batty at the end of the month, and if you don't have a BFP then, maybe it's just not for you and you can focus on OPKs instead.

  11. ValentineMommy

    pomelo / 5791 posts

    @HappyBluebird: Thank you!!

    @MaryM: Oooo, I gotcha now!

    I have my fingers crossed that I won't ever need all this information after this cycle. I feel stupid and naive to say that I honestly have a good feeling about this cycle. Then I feel cynical for feeling THAT way. The rollercoaster of emotions is so crazy.

    Pretty sure I am in my FW (just based on dates) but DH hasn't been feeling well...It's probably for the best. I am on cd 16. With my pregnancies, I have O'ed on cd 15 and cd 13 but I tested on cd 14 this month with nothing. I typically have a long surge (2-3 days of positives.) I have a feeling I may have gotten a positive yesterday but since DH wasn't in the mood, I didn't see a point. Oh well...

    @ValentineMommy: Fingers super crossed for you! I am glad you asked these questions because I have always wondered about it.

    @simplyfelicity: are you feeling like you missed your window? It's possible you'll ovulate a little later. Or maybe even earlier? I think in September I ovulated earlier than normal. Are you getting any signs of O?

  17. simplyfelicity

    cantaloupe / 6634 posts

    @Tidybee: Thanks for the help! I could have. I took an OPK 11 in addition to 14 and both were negative. Sadly, we have only BD cd 8 and cd 12. So, if I o'ed before 11, I am possibly "covered." It's possible that I o'ed between cd 11 and 14 but the test lines were so so light. I, too, am wondering if O got pushed back, too. Any thoughts?

    eta: I am having more cm...I think. But I also had none the FW I did get KU.

    @simplyfelicity: You're welcome!! All this stuff is so confusing!

  19. Tidybee

    nectarine / 2834 posts

    @simplyfelicity: Cm is tricky with me too. I tend to get more after I ovulate. or maybe I'm ovulating a lot later than I think since our CP was conceived well after I thought I ovulated!
    I'd take one today just to see. My wandfos tend to be light, light, then super dark and then light again. I never have a gradual rise.

    @ValentineMommy: Just keep temping! Charts don't often tell you much day by day, but the patterns that emerge can be helpful. I'd say you'll get your crosshairs tomorrow. FF takes 3 days of raised temps before it'll agree on an O date.

    I am a bit addicted to charting.

    @simplyfelicity: Still no O here. Nowhere near, if it'll happen at all.

    Since we're discussing charting...can any of you guys help me with a charting + progesterone question?

    My doctor told me to start taking progesterone on 2dpo. But I usually confirm O at 3 dpo. Do I just guess? That seems risky...

    @jaguar: @Tidybee: @ValentineMommy: Now I feel like a dork because I went home, tested and it was a blazing positive. The line was so so faint on Tuesday that I am going to bet it was probably not quite there yesterday (that's how it has happened in the past.) Not sure if DH will be in the mood but I almost just feel better knowing it's happening.

  23. MaryM

    pomelo / 5129 posts

    @simplyfelicity: Yay!

    I often get my surge in the afternoon too. I think that's what threw me off last month. I didn't test often enough to catch the surge.

  24. simplyfelicity

    cantaloupe / 6634 posts

    @MaryM: My surge is usually crazy long (2-3 days) so I just thought it wasn't going to happen. Pretty relieved.

    @simplyfelicity: Ohhhh I am jealous of your positive OPK!!!! Yay!!!

    @MaryM: If you're fairly sure you've O-ed, I'd take it. Can't hurt. Otherwise, waiting one more day til FF confirms O probably ALSO won't hurt.

  27. simplyfelicity

    cantaloupe / 6634 posts

    @jaguar: Thanks! It's been a long process so I am happy to be back in the swing of things. It's almost been 2 months... Hope you are doing well and O is right around the corner for you.

    @jaguar: You were right! Got solid crosshairs this morning and a big temp rise! "Confirmed" O on CD16! Thank goodness I can stop BDing now (CD19). I'm exhausted! Lol

    @MaryM: Sorry I can't help much, but can it hurt to take it that one day early??

    @simplyfelicity: Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!

    So, I guess I'm officially in the TWW now. I hate this part......

  29. MaryM

    pomelo / 5129 posts

    @jaguar: @ValentineMommy: Thanks for the input guys I think I'll probably wait to confirm. I'm just worried about taking it before O and affecting my O... I figure all taking it a day late will do is make my LP one day longer, and I think I can deal with that.

  30. HappyBluebird

    clementine / 957 posts

    @simplyfelicity: Yay for O!

    @ValentineMommy: I always loved seeing the crosshairs to confirm O so that the constant BDing could slow down!

    @MaryM: I don't know much about progesterone so I don't have much help. If you are worried about it affecting O, I would take it a day late and know it didn't change it.

    So I've had blood work drawn twice, the last two Wednesdays and the HCG results were 572 last week and then 74 this week. So that's one good thing we have going for us. Still have to wait for the pathology reports to confirm the molar pregnancy or not. Dr says hopefully we will have the results in about 2 weeks. So tired of waiting to find out the next steps!

    Sorry I've been so MIA, ladies! I've been traveling a LOT for work lately and had a huge meeting with one of my vendors in FL this week. It went SO well. It was the first time I presented a team from my vendor that I hand picked (our old team was absolutely awful). It was a new Account Executive, Account Director, and Medical Director to my senior leadership team along with a bunch of clinicians, and it went better than I could have ever expected. Makes me feel so proud that one of my biggest decisions of my career is paying off. And because I can't focus on TTC right now, I need another distraction which is always work!

    @simplyfelicity: Thanks for thinking of me. I realize I commented and then signed off for 4 days right afterwards! Sorry for just getting back to you now!

    Sounds like a lot of you ladies are getting your Os and are BDing away! Lots of luck to you all this month!!

    I just called my doctor to find out if my repeat blood work from over 2 weeks ago is back yet...apparently blood clotting factors take a while and they aren't. So frustrating! I'm confirmed for surgery on the 24th though. Ready to get past this stage.

    @ValentineMommy: Yay for crosshairs! Take a breather, keep yourself busy & hopefully you'll be lucky soon.

    @MaryM: Good plan, lady! x

    @HappyBluebird: The waiting is the worst! *hugs* Hopefully you'll get your answers soon, lovely.

    @2PeasinaPod: Good to have something to take your mind off TTC, at least in theory! Plans in place, that's a good thing.

    @simplyfelicity: A happy TWW to you too!

    So I had bloods taken yesterday, and the scientists rang me afterwards. Said to skip bloods and stick with LH OPK kits at home, and I freaked out, assuming they hadn't seen anything. I asked why - she said she saw a rise, and hoped that I'd have double lined on the LH kits by Sunday or Monday. It's faint today, so I hope she's right. Nothing to report yet.

    @jaguar: Thanks! We only BD yesterday (the day of my positive opk) and it was negative again today. Not the best timing but I am cool with this cycle not working.
    Sorry things seemed stalled but definitely looking up, right? Fingers crossed for a positive opk.

    How is everyone doing? The last few days were hard for me, maybe because I would be very neat the halfway point of my pregnancy. I hope you are all well.

    @jaguar:

    @simplyfelicity: hugs! Every time I would have been in a new trimester was hard for me. Hopefully you can do something for yourself this weekend. Do you get Monday off?

    I hate how it always seems I get sick when I have an extra day off. The last two weeks have been super stressful at work so I was looking forward to this long weekend...DH got sick Tuesday and I came down with it yesterday. Blech.

    @jaguar: awesome news!
    @MaryM: I feel like I've been sick for a month (off and on). It's been awful -- I hope you feel better!
    @simplyfelicity: I'm trying to stick my head in the sand as much as possibly with where I'd be in this pregnancy. I think I'm just trying to forget about it as much as possible. Not forget about the baby, but forget that I'm supposed to be pregnant now.
    I'm trying to stay positive and move forward. DH and I enter the big week this week of BDing this week and we leave for vacation (without DD!) on Thursday. Our timing is bound to be good, so I'm trying not to even pay attention to OPKs or anything like that. We have our appointment to go over all of our results from our repeated pregnancy loss testing on Monday, the day after we get back from vacay. I'm kinda nervous, but choosing to focus on Florida instead.
