@josina: We use pampers swaddled size 1 they hold really well, she had a blow out the other day, but that was first in a long time, I also do change her at her MOTN wake up around 4

I don't really change MOTN anymore.. We also use Pampers Swaddlers size 1, it's super soaked by morning but no leaks yet!
Man, I was sooo thankful that K had a blowout yesterday AFTER we got home from church! We were at church from 9-4 so she could've easily gave me a mess there! I bring extra everything but it's just so much easier to deal with it at home!

@winniebee: Haha, i had similar wakeup times and thought that was good!

@Adira: Oh no, i would go to the doctor just to make sure his lungs sound okay. I took A when he was still sick after 1 week, only because he was so little and i was terrified it was something worse. Hope he feels better soon!

@Freckles: Yeah, my husband is worried about him developing pneumonia because our toddler had it once.

gahhh I have been sucking at keeping up with this thread.
Micah has been good. He has started this thing that if I hold him up on my lap with his feet on me he will walk up my body. I'm like... you can't roll over yet but look at you practicing walking!
We are still cosleeping and that's how he sleeps best. He usually wakes up a few times for a quick feed and that's it. Honestly you guys... I LOVE cosleeping. The snuggles are sooo great. I may have a harder time than he does when we start getting him to sleep in his crib.

Last night was night 3 or so of wake ups every 1.5-3 hrs. Baaah, I am so tired.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@whenoceansrise: We generally don't ever cosleep, but on Sunday, Logan was being fussy and I wasn't ready to get up, so I pulled him in bed with me to snuggle and he passed right out! I loved it! But then I had to get up with the toddler. Womp womp.

@theotherstark: I'm sorry And we lost an hour too! I keep saying to myself at least if the 4 mo regression hits it won't feel that much worse?!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@theotherstark: Yikes! Do you think it could be the 12 week growth spurt??
pomegranate / 3045 posts
@snowjewelz: HA I was just thinking that
@Adira: Ugh I have no idea. Just ordered the Merlin sleep suit and am realllllly hoping it helps, since he doesn't stay swaddled anymore. I hope Logan is feeling better!
pomegranate / 3973 posts
@FaithFertility: @snowjewelz: We've switched brands a lot lately (DH buys a different brand everytime we go) and we've both decided we don't like Huggies... Luvs is up next in line. We've been in size 2 for awhile.
He wouldn't need to be changed till 4-ish (I've changed him before at our 1/2 time and he's not wet enough to justify waking him up) but if I wake him up then there's a good chance he won't go back to sleep right away.
@whenoceansrise: I pull Ethan into bed with me after his last feeding because he gets fussier then about going back to sleep. If he's in the crook of my arm he's right back out. I love our morning cuddles!
For those still in RnP's or not in the crib... when do you think you'll move them? I had said 3 months but since he's been sick have been postponing, and frankly I don't think I'm ready yet!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@josina: I'm the same. I thought I'd move Logan at 3 months (which is when he outgrew his bassinet), but I'm not ready AND he's sick. So he's now in a Pack n Play next to our bed. Now I'm thinking maybe I'll move him at 6 months...?
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
So weird that my LO never liked the RnP after her newborn days which was really just the 1st 2 weeks! I'm still keeping mine around for #2...
pomelo / 5298 posts
@josina: Soon-ish? I know we need to do it soon because she's consistently rolling back to front. But she gets really irritated when she gets on her tummy now. So I'm afraid of what it will do to her sleep. I said we'd make the change at 3 months as well. She's closing in on 4 months. We are going out of town for Easter. Maybe that will force me to make the change?
We aren't swaddling and I'm trying desperately to get her to not suck her hands. But she's at the point where she will pull her pacifier out, try to get it back in and end up tossing it in exchange for her hand. Which I guess could be okay, if I wasn't so against thumb sucking. But she's really loud about it and her lip smacking doesn't seem to lull her to sleep.

@josina: We are still in pnp I have no idea when we will be in crib at night, since DH works night shifts sometimes I think it might be awile

@Adira: I called the doc when he had the fever and they said to go to ER. The ER told me to follow up the next day (Monday) so we did. On Wednesday his cough was definitely worse so my husband told me to make an appt for the next day to follow up which I did. I think if you are at all worried to take him in. They will listen to his breathing and probably check his oxygen saturation levels.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@winniebee: Maybe I'm too lax, but I WASN'T worried until my husband said "When should we call the doctor?"
ETA: I think part of why I'm not worried is because Xander has asthma, so I've seen numerous times what it looks like to be struggling to breath, and Logan doesn't seem like he's having trouble AT ALL - just has a bad cough. But maybe I should bring him in just to be on the safe side.
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@BandDmommy: I put that on K a couple times but I feel like it doesn't do anything! I ended up taking it off so she can actually suck her thumb instead of sucking on the fabric!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@MamaG: Hahahah oh man K is LOUD too when she's devouring her thumb! I've been suffering from this.. Her thumb sucking right now isn't always soothing but I'm hoping it will change!

Are any of you apart of sale groups in your area on FB? I baught G her infant seat just like K"s @@snowjewelz: for $20 yesterday in mint condition and sold all of our left over NB diapers for $25 today Win Win in my book!

@Adira: his cough wasn't just a cough though. It was coughing fits that were pretty scary including gagging on mucous and vomiting. I'm sort of desensitized to illness from Tyler's many illnesses his first year, but this made me nervous. Also him being under 3m made me nervous. If Logan just has a cough I am sure everything is just fine. I now have a sinus infection so I now understand how serious this illness was for my kids.

Oh I plan on moving Ryan from the rock n play to the crib around when sleep goes to shit again :). He is already in his own room but it adjoins ours and he's only like 15 feet from me. We all sleep better this way.
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@FaithFertility: Yup I've bought & sold a few things on there!
I hope G has fun with her seat!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@FaithFertility: I've been looking for a decent jumperoo from the FB re-sell group!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@winniebee: Thank you for that! Logan definitely has coughing fits, but no gagging or vomiting. But I think if he's still coughing bad for a couple more days, I'll call the pediatrician anyway. But I THINK he's getting better. The other day, he woke up a few times in the MOTN coughing, but no wake-ups last night, so hopefully he's on the mend.
Of course now Xander has it. That actually worries me more because he has asthma that's often induced by illness...

@snowjewelz: well she is still falling forward a bit so she gets upset, but seems to like it for a few...lol

In case you hadn't seen it yet, a friend of mine posted this link about an infant Tylenol recall. http://fda.org/index.php?article=tylenol-and-motrin-recall
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@Miss Ariel: I think that article is from 2010. I actually remember this because my best friend has a daughter born in 2009 and at one point, she really struggled to find medication for her because of the recall! But I think the current drugs out there are safe.
But if anyone has some from 2010, they may want to get rid of it!

Ryan had an awful day of naps yesterday all crappy cat naps and he was so wound up by bed time. But slept over 6 hours. So, yay?
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@winniebee: It's only a yay if you got to have at least 5 hours of sleep during that time! Otherwise it's probably still pretty frustrating.
pomelo / 5660 posts
Poor D was so congested last night. But still slept for about 11 hours. I think she is close to rolling back to tummy. Her arm still keeps stopping her. She has great head control but nowhere near sitting on her own.
honeydew / 7283 posts
@FaithFertility: Nice!
@winniebee: That must have been a long day with garbage naps but I'm glad he did better at night.
@BandDmommy: You have such a great sleeper
