@AngelicOne: Eh K has off days here & there too. She was on a boob strike and now she's okay again. Some days it is a struggle and she doesn't drink her full 12 oz for the day.

@snowjewelz: glad he boob strike is over!
@FaithFertility: bottle boot camp - I like it! Have you tried the comotomo??

Been a crap sleep week here. Keep going back and forth with rock n play and crib. R pretty much hates the crib. But last night was up at 12, 3, 6 in rock n play so basically it doesn't seem worth it to be using it anymore. Of course we leave for vacation in 2 days so now I feel stuck!
In adorable news R keeps blowing raspberries and thinks it's the best ever! And I've been potty training T the last week and it clicked and he's in undies now except nights. He will be 3 in exactly one month

@winniebee: yay!!!!
D seems to be back to normal with sleep. I broke out the exersaucer yesterday and she LOVED it! We have also been potty training B and called it yesterday as a success since no accidents and he's been pooping regularly on potty. Potty training was MUCH easier that I thought it would be. :). We are getting ready for B's bday at the end of may.

@winniebee: Bummer about the sleep, but yay for potty training!
@BandDmommy: That's awesome about potty training! I'm so nervous to do it, so glad to hear it was easier than you thought it would be.

@winniebee: ugh, so sorry about the sleep. Hopefully he gives you some nice sleep for vacation! And yay for potty training! Go T!! Aren't those raspberries the cutest?!
@BandDmommy: Glad potty training went so well!!
@FaithFertility: Ugh, h still won't take a bottle either. My husband has a trial coming up and has been working insane hours, so he hasn't had a chance to really try it again. Hopefully once this trial is over...

@theotherstark: She knows and is stubborn I'm convinced DH swears she can't suck it, he is so discouraged we were going to go all out today but I'm pretty sure she is not feeling great super stuffy and her temp was 99 usually it is 98 I know it's one degree but we shall see

@winniebee: Ughhhhh maybe after Vaca will be a good time to start crib again, I did crib for naps as soon as we came back home from my mom's so far so good

Bad sleep here the past few nights too. Kara is going down earlier now instead of like 9-10, but now she wakes up and stays up for sooo long MOTN! Last night was a record - Up at 1:15am, ate, changed diaper, and would not go back to sleep till 4am. I am TIRED I didn't even force her to sleep early... Usually she'd nap and then wake up but she has been sleeping through then waking up around 1-2am! Uggggggh.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@snowjewelz: Yikes! I'm sorry!!! Hope you're having a LARGE coffee or something to help you get through the day.
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@Adira: I haven't even really been drinking coffee at all, just a small cup right after a pump session here & there! Ugh now I really dread bed time! Good that I took a nap with her when she went down at 7:30. I think I napped from 7:30-10:30, then DH woke me up so I could pump.
How's Logan doing?
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@FaithFertility: I am so sorry you're still going through bottle strike! It stinks b/c there isn't one formula to fix it... It's literally just trying and re-trying different combos. Now that K is a boob girl again, she is fussier with the bottle too. Ugh, why does it have to be one or the other?!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@snowjewelz: Logan is doing well! He just finished his round of antibiotics for his ear infection, so I'm hoping the constant pooping is going to stop soon! He woke up at 4:15 this morning pooping! And then talking! So I had to get up early to nurse him back to sleep (thank goodness that works). I think he might be getting another cold though... heard him coughing last night... bleh.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@snowjewelz: haha, I don't know. Probably! I remember Xander was constantly sick when he started daycare too, so I'm not surprised.
pomegranate / 3973 posts
@winniebee: @snowjewelz: Sorry for the bad sleep! I let E sleep in his crib for the first time last night and got two almost five hour stretches! BUT its because he was belly sleeping, so while he slept great I was super paranoid.
@Adira: Glad Logan is doing better, hopefully its a quick cold if he does have one. Es been sneezing a bit but doesn't seem to be bothering him much, and I think we escaped the sickness that was going around daycare.
@FaithFertility: @theotherstark: Aww, sorry about the bottles, that got to be so hard! I hope they take to them soon!!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@josina: That's great! I hope you're more confident about it and don't have to worry and can enjoy the sleep too! Did you put him on be belly? Or did he roll there by himself?
nectarine / 2053 posts
I think it might be time to try to get Micah to sleep in his crib at night. He is turning into a light sleeper and DH easily wakes him up in his sleep. I wanted to wait though until I could put him on his tummy because he sleeps so much better in his crib when he's on his tummy.
eggplant / 11861 posts
@snowjewelz: Gahhhh my heart goes out to you
Yeah bottle war stinks but I'm just gong to continue trying and get a little more forceful she seems cranky today cry fest when I went to feed her, I think she is a little sick or just not feeling good abs is stuffy so gets mad
eggplant / 11861 posts
@whenoceansrise: I want to too, but she seemed to forget how to roll from tummy to back once she remembers we might give it a try, so far all naps the past 2 days have been in crib
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@FaithFertility: Haha was that what the video on IG was about? She was supposed to roll and go to sleep and instead she was just chilling?
eggplant / 11861 posts
@snowjewelz: haha yep she was sleeping on her back but I heard flapping and well....you saw the rest
pomegranate / 3973 posts
@snowjewelz: I put him on his belly, he hasn't rolled back to belly yet. When he woke up at 2 he had rolled onto his back. @whenoceansrise: Ethan sleeps soo much better on his tummy, proven last night with a 2nd long stretch vs. his usual up every 2, but I am also sooo nervous about it too. Ugh.
pomelo / 5298 posts
We've got a tummy sleeper too. She can roll completely and does so all the way across the floor until she hits something. We lay her on her back and she immediately flips to her tummy and stays there. We aren't in the crib yet, but we will get there, soon. She turns 5 months tomorrow. Never in my wildest dreams did I think she'd still be in our room at this point! We kicked the older one out at 3 months.
For fun, she threw up in her carseat on the way home yesterday. Then this morning she had two quick BM's that were of the liquid variety. Her behavior was all good and no fever. I took my chances and sent her to school this morning. I just called and they said she's fine. Since everything is going in her mouth these days, there's no telling what sort of little bug she might have had irritating her tummy.
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@MamaG: Yep! I don't even know if she still has diarrhea or she has new pooping patterns!
pomegranate / 3973 posts
@MamaG: @snowjewelz: The past 2 days Ethan waits until I am ready to head out the door to poop! At least neither was a blow out, but still, you couldn't do that 10 minutes sooner!

So I guess it's our turn in the won't go to sleep department ......she didn't fall asleep nursing and is soo over tired DH is trying to rock her.......ughhh not her typical self today she has cried more today than her 4 months combined I think
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
@FaithFertility: :(. Ryan was pretty bonkers yesterday too!
Keep putting him down in crib for night. Last night it lengthened to 3.5 hours first stretch. Then I couldn't deal and he slept in the rock n play rest of night (3.5h then 3). I figure that first stretch will lengthen eventually.....
honeydew / 7283 posts
@FaithFertility: sounds like a hard day I hope you got some sleep!
@winniebee: sorry to hear R's still having trouble with the crib! I hope that stretch lengthens quickly.

J was so fussy yesterday too! Naps have been a nightmare no matter what I do He used to take a great afternoon nap in the swing (not moving. I was just trying to keep him away from m's room during her nap). Now he's too big & strong and wiggling his way out of the swing so we had to move to the crib. He sleeps pretty well there at night but not during the day! We had a sitter last night and I was practically crying trying to give her instructions because I've been feeling so clueless myself! We had a nice date night though, so that definitely helped
eggplant / 11861 posts
@MrsF: Right!!! G fights the crib too some days no problem others all out war!!! Like today I don't get it??? She is getting way to big for swing too!
eggplant / 11861 posts
No fever but crying sooo much again today If this continues I'm calling pedi, not like her at all, my poor baby!!! So far being 4 months is for the birds!!!
nectarine / 2210 posts
@MrsF: K won't take naps in her crib either. She's fine overnight but day time is a different story. She still naps in her RNP which scares me a bit since soon she'll be too big for it.
nectarine / 2210 posts
After a week of sending K to daycare with 18 ounces, we've been pretty successful. The main change I made was defrosting the full 18 ounces Sunday night. I used to pump Sunday morning and just defrosted the rest. By but defrosting just a bit more I was able to make enough each day the rest of the week.
Plus K has finished all 18 ounces each day, which makes me wonder just how much more she'd want to drink. But I think we'll stay at 18 for now.
eggplant / 11861 posts
@Miss Ariel: Wow, I'm soo curious just how much G drinks....
That sounds life she is doing good!
pomegranate / 3973 posts
@FaithFertility: Aww, poor girl, hopefully nothing is wrong.
I put Ethan back in the r&p last night and he did two five hour stretches again. Crossing my fingers this sticks, but also wondering if he's a little sick, hadn't been eating as much and was spitting up quite a bit last night. He also went 7 hours yesterday with only a ten minute nap! Crazy baby.
@Miss Ariel: Glad it's working for you!! I've also wondered if I need to send more milk to daycare, he does 15 oz now but that's all I make and I don't want him eating more than I can keep up with.
