@josina: M is the opposite of E. He was a little bottomless pit today (when it comes to BM anyways, he still isn't fond of solids). He was super fussy though so think he's teething more and/or starting the next wonder week.
@snowjewelz: M started moving his hands & scooting his knees forward so he's so close to crawling.
@BandDmommy: @FaithFertility: So cute they're saying words (even if they aren't mama!)

@AngelicOne: Yep, definitely the opposite. Ethan loves his solids.
This morning was the first time he cried when I dropped him off at daycare. Poor guy. I loaded her up with apple juice, apple sauce, milk in a bottle, and a sippy cup, so hopefully he gets some more liquids in today.
@FaithFertility: 2nd that! Done with your first week at daycare! Is it full-time next week, or one more week to go?
eggplant / 11861 posts
@josina: Hope he drinks!!!! Maybe I should pack some juice/water too just to get some liquids, but I know her and if she likes that she will only want that not formula.....lol
Yep, full time next week...ughhhhh.....lol

@FaithFertility: Aw! Have a great weekend with her! Hopefully you will be so busy when school is back full time that each day will fly by!
@josina: Aww poor baby! You sent him off with so much stuff, he's bound to drink something right?!
I think K is def starting to have a lil separation anxiety too. When I had to leave for work this morning she didn't want to let go of me and go to daddy. Then when I left left I heard her fussing. I feel just a bit gleeful about it, lol
eggplant / 11861 posts
@snowjewelz: awwwww haha G does this with Daddy, she is hooked, of he is holding her she holds onto him when he tries to pass her off.....lol
pomegranate / 3973 posts
@snowjewelz: lol, and I was the first one to complain that he was always happy to go to daycare and not excited when i picked him up. I guess I know he loves his momma now!
@FaithFertility: Enjoy your weekend with her before Monday! I'm sure you will.
And forgot to mention I got my first 8 hour stretch last night! From 9 till 5! I think I can consider that a STTN?

BF babies who are eating a decent amount of solids - How often are they pooping and (gross) what does it look like? Jack hasn't pooped in a few days and seems to be straining. I've been giving prunes, pears & peaches, water, nursing often. My daughter has issues with constipation and I hate to think of J having the same thing.
pomelo / 5298 posts
@MrsF: I know you asked specifically for BF, but K is daily (often twice daily). The consistency is often pretty loose - like peanut butter without the stickiness. She's become pretty consistent at after her first bottle of the morning - you know just as I'm trying to put her in the carseat and rush out the door, I realize she's stinkin'.
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@MrsF: She is not very consistent; sometimes daily, sometimes skips a day (but no more than a day). Sometimes she will poop like 3 times in one day. I guess it depends on what she ate?!
pomegranate / 3973 posts
@MrsF: Ethan usually has at least 1 dirty diaper a day, but has gone 2 days before... Its has been pretty runny lately because of the medicine, but usually more toothpaste-like, with the occasional pea or carrot still recognizable.
eggplant / 11861 posts
@MrsF: 1 usually every morning within an hr of her being awake!
Sometimes she will skip a day but no more than 1 day!
It is Like TOOTHPASTE and sometimes more solid

@MrsF: I haven't been keeping track of how often Logan's pooping - I'm hoping he's mostly doing it at daycare, haha! But this morning I got to clean a poopy diaper and it is no longer pleasant! His poop is now like dark brown peanut butter... sorry for the visual!

Thanks ladies! He seems so uncomfortable DH just gave him a double dose of prunes so hopefully that will help!
honeydew / 7444 posts
@MrsF: A is not that consistent with poops. He hadn't pooped in 4 days so he was pretty uncomfortable. But this morning he had a huge poop after a lengthy nursing session. I got to sleep in so DH took care of that for me. some days he will poop everyday. Thankfully whether he poops frequently or if it takes a while, the poop is soft. I only worry about constipation if the poops are hard (small or big).
@josina: ummm 9-5 sounds glorious!! Yay!
A says umma and baba (mom in Korean and dad in Chinese). The worst is at night when I hear "ummmaaaaa" wailing.
I am finally getting the timing of his naps/awake times figured out. He napped 2 hours for his first, 1.5 hours for his second and went down to bed easily today. ALL In his crib and NOT in the damn ergo!! And of course now that I wrote it out he is going to have crap naps this weekend.
I also got a spot at our first choice daycare so I feel like today has been the best day ever!
pomegranate / 3973 posts
@Freckles: so cool that he's saying mom and dad already! The wailing would be tough! Awesome naps - hope they continue! Yay for first choice daycare!
nectarine / 2210 posts
We're about once a day too. Normally around 11 or 12, which means daycare is taking care of most of them.
eggplant / 11861 posts
@Freckles: Awesome naps! I am glad he is figuring them out!
Ughhh the maaammama daadaa cries are the worst!

What size diapers is everyone in? I've been fighting to get through my stash of 3s and finally had to give up. We are in 4s now and it's probably overdue.
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
@MrsF: Ryan pooped like 5x a day on just BM. Now it's usually 2x - one big one small. He eats so much fruit that I think that helps things along. Lots of berries and peaches.
@MamaG: still size 3. No idea how big he is (16.5 lbs maybe?) but usually now blow outs!
eggplant / 11861 posts
@MamaG: still in 3...I think hopefully we can finish our box before 4
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
Ryan has been running a high fever for the past few days. At first I thought teeth but either the cheap thermometer I bought is off or he has had a 103 fever for 2 days now 101. Extreme fussiness and bad sleep and naps for 2 days. On vacation of course. I see two teeth about to pop through but nothing yet.
honeydew / 7283 posts
@FaithFertility: Poor kid is still having trouble He keeps passing these "marbles" of poop and screaming while he's doing it. They're not actually very hard but I'm sure it's a very different feeling for him. We're cutting back on the solids a bit and only giving "p" fruits (prunes, pears, peaches).
Thanks for asking
honeydew / 7283 posts
@winniebee: Poor R! That seems too high for just teething. I'd probably want his ears checked if he's fussy but of course that's tough on vacation
eggplant / 11861 posts
@winniebee: ohh poor R! Hopefully he feels better soon!
@MrsF: Sounds like a good plan!
Wow, G is fighting naps today like I HAVE NEVER SEEN!
We nursed at 8 today, then I gave her the straw cup w/ lunch at 11:30 she took about 3 Oz and I didn't nurse her again until 2! She seemed ok!
I plan to nurse her after dinner if she doesn't take at least 3 more Oz
How many Oz are you giving in bottles???
honeydew / 7283 posts
@FaithFertility: I work 12 hour shifts so J doesn't nurse for 24 hours on my work days and he takes 5oz bottles (six of them) over 24 hours.
I hope the naps get better!
eggplant / 11861 posts
@MrsF: ok 5oz over 24hr how many does he take between say 7a.m. and 6?
Sorry for all the ???
eggplant / 11861 posts
@MrsF: I think this week has been a lot she naps there and then comes home and passes out nursing...
So our nap routine has been off
pomelo / 5298 posts
@FaithFertility: We give six ounce bottles (formula) and she gets five per day. One at wake, one at bed and three while at day care.
honeydew / 7283 posts
@FaithFertility: he usually has a bottle at 5am, 830am, 11am, 1:30pm, 4pm and 7pm. (Those are the same times we generally nurse) so I guess 20oz between 7am and 6pm. He is a real piggie though, and sometimes it seems like he will eat anything that this offered to him.
honeydew / 7444 posts
@MrsF: if he is still having a hard time, consider taking him to the ped and taking some miralax. When LO1 had bad constipation (similar to what you described) we had her take it for a few days to "reset" her digestive system and she didn't have issues after that. Before that we would go through constipation/poop/constipation/poop.
@winniebee: that blows.
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
@MrsF: I thought ears but they don't seem to be bothering him. It's just strange that no one we know has had as much as a cold. He's acting so toothish and even when he's been sick he's never been this pissy! Just caught him rocking on all 4s so that could be a small piece of it too.
