@winniebee: aw I'm so sorry! Hope he feels better! Kara has been cutting the top ones for forever!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@FaithFertility: breast milk she is still drinking 4-5 and formula 4 or 6. I hope today is just a fluke!
K has been napping since 2 and its 4! But I had to nurse her twice. The second time I just thought she was waking up but she was cranky. I gotta wake her up by 4:30 tho.. She did 2-4-4 today.

Ughhh Ryan only drank 2 oz from his bed time bottle and then smacked it away. And got mad when I tried to give him the bottle again. Then wanted to nurse. He hasn't gotten a bottle in a few days....teeth? Ears? Ugh!!

@MamaG: we've been in fours for a few weeks now.
@winniebee: sounds like what we are going through! Already treated his ears but he still doesn't take bottles, but nurses fine. Hope you figure it out! Ethan is teething also, so that may be it.

@Freckles: My daughter actually has major constipation issues and takes miralax daily. I'd like to avoid it with J but it's good to know it's an option if he needs it!

@snowjewelz: nice nap!
@winniebee: @josina: poor kids It's so hard not knowing how to help them!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
She ended up sleeping till 4:50?! But her weekdays are completely not like this.. I think bc she isn't doing enough so she isn't that tired?!
persimmon / 1050 posts
@MamaG: We're still in 3's here too.
@snowjewelz: Nice nap. M ended up sleeping for about 30 minutes earlier, then woke for 10 minutes, then fell back asleep for an hour. Wish it would happen more often!

@snowjewelz: I agree, G's sleep/naps this week were AMAZING, even STTN!
Yesterday naps awful and we are up at 6:30 for the day with a 4:30 wake also
Which honestly isn't bad.....but I see a trend
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
Ryan was up at 730, 11, 12, 1, 3, 4 and up for the day at 520. He didn't want his pacifier and kept getting mad at me for trying that route. Fell alseep on dad on the couch from 6-7 am. Seriously worse than newborn sleep! My husband suggested possibly the dairy???? But I've been on it 2 weeks and he DID just have a fever the other day. I'm going with teeth but if it happens again tonight I will bring him to the doctor.
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@FaithFertility: uh yeah so great nap turned into horrible night sleep! Up so many times I didn't even count! M
@winniebee: ack that's crazy! Our sleep was pretty bad last night too... I'm blaming it on her leap according to wonder weeks... Sometimes k fights the paci too, I have to shove it in again and again bc I know deep down she needs it, lol
eggplant / 11861 posts
@winniebee: awful man I hope it was a fluke!!!
Poor guy/poor mom!
Hopefully it is teeth/being on Vaca that is throwing him off!!!!
Did you give Tylenol?
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
@FaithFertility: oh yes. Advil before bed. Tylenol at like 1 am. Then Advil again at 4 am. He's a little less fussy than yesterday thankfully....
@snowjewelz: we are not even in a leap so I can't blame it on that. My husband of course was like....maybe it's all the cheese you've been eating? But he had that fever and thy can't be caused by cheese lol!
eggplant / 11861 posts
@winniebee: ohhh man and he was still up that much!
Poor guy!
You haven't heard of the dairyfever?!?!?
eggplant / 11861 posts
Yesterday I nursed at 8 a.m. 2 p.m. and 7:30
She took cup at 11-12 with lunch...about 3 Oz and again at 5:30 with dinner about 3 oz
Not bad!!!
Hoping today I can get her to take it again at 2!!
I nursed her at 4:30 and 7:30 today so far......
FWIW: According to Kelly mom
In order to continue to BF I should nurse am and pm and also on weekends it said your body will figure it out based on supply/demand on a daily basis?
Hope this is true!
Since she isn't a newborn and nurses 3-4hrs maybe this will work?!

We are falling back into routine. D is still rocking size 2 diapers, but she is teeny compared to most of the babies on this thread. I swear she has hollow leg because she wats as much as her brother. I just think she's petite, like momma.

Our sleep was off. K woke up angry at 12:30. DH couldn't calm her (strange!), so I went in and rocked her back to sleep. She refused her pacifier.
She was up again at 5:00 - same thing. I gave her a bottle and that resolved the issue and knocked her back out until 8:00.
In the grand scheme, not a bad night, but bad for us. I know her upper teeth are still bothering her, even though they have broken through. She's now into grinding them and that makes me batty! Nails on chalkboard!
eggplant / 11861 posts
@MamaG: ohhh my gosh that makes my skin crawl....just thing about that sound...lol
Sorry for the bad night!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@winniebee: haha I would be mad if cheese cause fever! But he has shown no other symptom!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@FaithFertility: you can def keep nursing! Worse is your body is not responding to the change but I think you will be fine!
eggplant / 11861 posts
@snowjewelz: Yep, I Know I sound like a broken record and keep talking about it, but this situation is so hard!
I just nursed her before her nap and she passed out
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@FaithFertility: it's so hard! I think it would help if you are able to keep nursing so you still get that special bond.
@BandDmommy: woohoo to being fun sized
eggplant / 11861 posts
@snowjewelz: I plan to, I think since we are only missing really 2 sessions and I'll nurse her a.m. around 5 and p.m.
We will be ok
pomegranate / 3973 posts
@winniebee: Rough night! Sorry! We did have one night like that when he had his ear infection.
Hope its better tonight! If only they could talk.
@FaithFertility: I'm curious how that will go for you nursing morning/nights/weekends... I want to move towards that. I have over 1000 oz. Frozen which would last two months of daycare at least (if he took 15 oz which he hasn't been doing) so I could start decreasing pumping sessions...
I can't believe we are so close to a year already that I can think about quiting pumping! Ahh!
I packed up all E's 0-6 month clothes today. Can't believe how much he has grown! We are in 9-12 mo.
E is all over the place this weekend too. Mostly pulls himself but has gotten around on all fours a little.
eggplant / 11861 posts
@josina: I'll let you know
I've about 75% cut out the 11 a.m. session and do straw cup w/ lunch so that helps but the more I read the more I find that says your body will figure it out since at this age they nurse a lot less than say trying to do this with a newborn!
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
R still has a low grade fever tonight -100.6. Since Wednesday night has had off and on fever. I should take him in tomorrow but I can't until end of day because of a work deadline. I have a feeling I am in for a long night again
honeydew / 7283 posts
@winniebee: So sorry you guys are heaving such a hard time! I hope that he's turned a corner and surprises you tonight...
@FaithFertility: You will definitely be ok You're doing great!
@BandDmommy: Glad you guys are home and getting back to your routine.
@josina: Woah! That's a great stash lady I'd love to quit pumping at work (or wean down) but most days I'm home with him so I would be worried about not having enough milk to nurse during the day when we're together.
persimmon / 1050 posts
@josina: I can't wait to quit pumping! I have 3700 ozs in the freezer, so I can technically quit anytime now and be able to get him to a year on BM.
@winniebee: Hope R feels better soon!
I need to pack up M's 6m clothes and redo the NB-3m stuff since I found some in clothes my mom gave me (they were supposed to be all bigger things but weren't)
pomelo / 5298 posts
We've done the dresser shuffle a couple of times already. I need to sift the 9 month things out as the torso is getting too short. We are firmly in 12 month clothes now (except pajamas). I will start to filter in some 18 month clothes too. My girls tend to be long torso, so we blow through the clothes. And I know that I have a bunch of 18 month summer clothes from C, that I'd like to use again if possible.
