In January I'm going on a 48 hour work trip and leaving DD at home. She'll be 9.5 months and the longest I've ever been away from her is 6 hours. I know it sounds ridiculous, but I'm so nervous that she's going to feel abandoned and wonder where the heck I went I'm trying to spend a few afternoons away from her before I go, but I need to save all my pumped milk for my trip and I don't want to use it before then.

I also have a lot of worries about her feeding while I'm gone since I won't have enough pumped milk in my stash to give her just breast milk so she'll have to take it mixed with formula, which she hates. Although I'm sure at some point she'll be hungry enough to just eat whatever is there.

Gah! I guess I just need to hear some good stories about leaving babies for the first time!
