@LabradorLover: Do you have a dollar store or walmart near by? It might be nice to see on a different type of test. I definitely see the second line on the new one but I am super skeptical of shadowy lines on frer.

And please don't feel bad about posting all these! Things have been slow around here with so many waiting for treatments.

    @MamaBear87: thank you!

@crazydoglady: I actually have both on the way home. I have thought about that too but have always heard that the FRER are the ones to use so I haven't purchased any others. Well, except for the Wondfos but not seeing any lines on those yet. Hoping it is still too early and they just aren't sensitive enough.

I'll have to stop and get something else! Anything that you can recommend? I'm afraid of the clear blue ones or anything with blue dye really from what I've read about them...

Not sure what I would do without my Bestie and you ladies on this board! You keep me sane!! haha

@LabradorLover: The dollar store and 88 cent walmart ones use red dye. I personally steer clear of wandfo just because I always get an evap.

@crazydoglady: Looks like I will be stopping at Walmart on my way home tonight. Doing my best not to drink a lot during the day today either!

  8. LabradorLover

Well, I stopped at Walmart and bought a bunch of those $0.88 tests and it didn’t show anything. I feel like the FRER still has a super faint line but officially have lost all hope. Just got done balling my eyes out. This sucks.

I had another follicle scan today and it's at 18mm now so the nurse said I should get a positive in a day or two. Thank goodness.

I got a positive opk today on cd14 which never happens for me but I’ll take it. We didn’t bd last night but got the night before and planning today and tomorrow. Hoping for a holiday miracle - for once we have relaxed timing for bd (dh is off work this week) but next month it’ll be right in the middle of Christmas travel and super awkward.

I've never used first response OPKs before so please excuse my annoying "is this positive" question but what do you guys think? I think it's almost there but not quite

@mrskansas: i agree with almost although I’d think you will have a positive later today maybe?? I’ve never used that brand either but sure looks close.

@bhbee: Thank you and hopefully it works out for you this month!!

@crazydoglady: Thank you! I took another test this morning (because I can't help myself) and there is a faint line again. AF is due tomorrow so we shall see what happens.

@mrskansas: I don't use any opks besides the clear blue digital ones because I got sick and tired of trying to decide if the line was dark enough or not! That was also before my medicated cycles so I was testing opks for 15 days long or so (what a headache!). I do use the Wondfos, too, but only because they are super cheap and I can use them however many times per day. But anyways! I think that is definitely positive now!! Good luck!

Boxing up stuff that no longer fits my son makes me so sad. I always thought it was a given that I would use it again.

How's everyone doing? I'm 13ish dpo right now with no signs of spotting but I anticipate it will be here very soon.

  28. LabradorLover

    kiwi / 548 posts

@crazydoglady: I hope this is a good sign for you!!

I am on cycle day 5 and waiting to start using my opks. I had my cycle day 3 bloodwork and ultrasound and everything was good to start my Letrozole. The only thing I was concerned about was my follicles. We have a portal website to use to see all of our bloodwork and ultrasound results. I have always had “<11mm - Multiple (5-10)” on both ovaries and my cd3. This time I have that on my right, but only 2-4 on my left side and it even lists that one of them is 13.8mm already. Does this seem normal?? Should it be that large this early? Nothing was different than before and I hadn’t started my pills yet so idk what to think. I figured I would ask you expert ladies what you think!

@bhbee: @MrsKansas: I totally know that feeling but your answers will be here soon!! I really think there should be a way for us to tell super early! It is so unfair!!

@LabradorLover: Thanks for checking in! I'm still just spotting but I know AF is on her way. I haven't taken a hpt because it's too depressing.

8dpo and haven’t wanted to test yet so that’s good. Might test tomorrow, Friday for sure. I only have wondfos to use unless i see a line, so sick of wasting expensive tests.

@bhbee: I'm 8 dpo tomorrow and I don't want to test. I've gotten so sick of staring at tests and imagining lines and wasting money. I do have tons of wondfos but I don't trust them when it's early. Too many evaps lately!!
