My group of friends/family does not host sprinkles for multiple pregnancies. Usually family members and friends will bring a gift when visiting after baby is born but it is not expected obviously.
My sister thinks she wants me to throw her a sprinkle for her third. I said no, that no one else I our family has ever had one and I didn't feel right. Am I in the wrong here? She was upset, but I think it's unnecessary.

ha I don't think she should have asked for one for herself and it definitely sounds gift grabby, plus she doesn't sound like she will appreciate you throwing her a party. A friend who I don't see too often found out she was having another girl (2 years apart) right around the time we were having lunch so I gave her a gift when I saw her. Then later I was invited to her "diaper shower" and a "fill my freezer party" plus she had a "meet the baby/housewarming" party after the birth because they had just moved. I felt a little bad because I am usually a supportive friend but to be honest I thought it was too much especially for a second baby of the same gender.
