Looking for a gift for my 5 year old nephew... Lots of great advice here for baby/toddler gifts but for the older kids, I'm clueless! He has an older brother and they live in a small home, and my brother (his dad) already complains that they have way too many toys. I love gifting books but don't know what 5 yr old boys like. He's starting kindergarten this fall.

Another HB'er suggested a time teacher watch so I got that and the kid loved it!!! (also 5yrs old)

We got our nephews National Geographic Kids and they love it. They get mail once a month and it isn't a toy so the parents loved it.

I just got my niece and nephew (5 and 7) video games and american girl clothes (my SIL said that's what they want). Apparently Frozen and Minecraft are what's in.
