I haven't yet, but we're hoping to sometime in the next year or two.
Honestly I'm glad we haven't yet. I know houses can be sold, but I feel like if we had bought in another city we'd have committed ourselves to living there. We're finally in a place we want to be and are ready to put down roots here.
ETA: I'll probably be 29-30 when we do.

@locavore_mama: @amurray: @dandelion: You ladies were young!
I was 30. DH and I moved around a lot before then, so renting made the most since. We also bought our house at the time we did to take advantage of Obama's $8K first home buyer credit

I haven't yet. Right now, pre-IVF, I think we could buy in 2-3 years (at 32-33 y/o) when we move back east. If we need do IVF, it will be pushed back.
We probably could have bought something last year or this year, but we don't call this our forever home and definitely don't want something keeping us here. Sorry, PNW. Our heart (& family) is back east.

33 and it still hasn't happened! Part of that is the high cost of real estate where we are, and there's also the fact that we're not 100% on settling here.
