Which ones do you wear/like?
I have a pair of Sorels I love for when it snows, but they are too heavy for all day/everyday non-snowy weather, and then I have a pair of Tom's that are similar to Uggs but I hate the strap/lace thing at the top!

Depends if you plan to wear them in the snow. I have a pair of Ugg Snow boots and the ones from your second link. The second pair are super comfy but not waterproof so I don't wear them if there is a lot of snow.

I have had the Bailey Button in black for years and I love them. I think of them as outdoor slippers - so fuzzy and soft and warm, and easy to slip on/off. They're a lazy-day (or nasty-weather) alternative to my more structured fashion type boots.

If you are a Costco member, you can get the v Kirkland brand of ugg look alikes for a fraction of the price. I don't notice a difference between the two.

I am not an Ugg wearer, but I do wear boots most days in the winter because I hate having cold feet! I am partial to the first ones you posted.

Ugg Adirondacks are my hands down favorites, and I've owned many Uggs. They are so comfortable (basically like sneakers) and also the warmest shoes I own. I live in New England and have a long walking commute to work and every winter I am so glad I own them. I've also had mine for 3 or 4 years already and they still look and feel great. I replaced the insert last year and they felt brand new again.

I haven 't tried them out yet, but I just bought a pair of Sperry duck boots just for this reason. Not snowy enough to warrant my all out winter Sorels, but wet/cold enough to need something with more umph. They are fleece lined too.

It depends on what you want them for. Do you want them for warmth? To use in slush/be waterproof? The two boots you posted are for very different purposes.

I love Hunter boots or Sorel duck boots for rain. I have short UGGS in chestnut that I've had for over 10 years but I mostly use them for slippers and take them camping.

I agree that we need to know their purpose. If it's just for comfort, the second ones you posted.
I think the whole purpose of paying so much for uggs is the plushness of the interior (otherwise, why not buy knockoffs?) so I'm not a fan of the first ones you posted because they're just snow boots made by ugg.
I have Mariana Uggs (I'm not sure they're sold anymore) that are waterproof, but look more like uggs (and are fully lined with fluff). I appreciate the fluff, and the easy slip on/off convenience (they do have a tie in the back, but I leave them tied in double knots)

i just have the classic uggs in short and tall but i don't deal with snow and i only wear my "rain" pair in light rain.
ETA: my rain pair is just a pair that is 10 years old and have been thrashed! ha.
