How long would you want to be pregnant? Assume that your LO would be full-term at the end of whatever period you choose (even if it's just a week or a month).
I loved being pregnant but I was really swollen for the last 6 weeks so I'd choose to be pregnant for 7 months!

@lawbee11: haha, maybe a longer period for the first baby and shorter for the next? I didn't enjoy pregnancy much.

Hmm, I am only halfway through my first pregnancy, is it possible to cut off the first 16 weeks and maybe the last 4? I was useless the first 16 so it would need to be longer in order for me to be ready and not miserable when baby arrives if my symptoms stay the same.

3 months. Enough time to prepare/get used to the idea not too long to be miserable!

6/7 months. I'm coming up on 6 and am so anxious and ready to meet this little girl! I wasn't quite so antsy the first time around.

I think 6-7 months. Long enough to really get used to the idea and prepare, but not so long that I hit miserable!

One month. Just enough time to have the bare necessities in place and get organized at work. Pregnancy and I don't agree with each other.

Assuming I was doing this again-- which I am not at all convinced I am!-- I'd say maybe 5 months? Preferably the last 5 months. Seems like a good amount of time to make arrangements and plans, but not so long that it feels like forever.

I was all smiles until about 7 months. So 6 months would be good to get prepared for the baby and enjoy the pregnancy.
Baby kicks would be nice and sweet then too instead of frightening thrashing around demolishing your internal organs. Haha

6 months! Enough time to prepare but not so long that I feel uncomfortable (but I guess if baby is full term, I'd feel uncomfortable regardless).
