Hello friends! I weaned my 12 month old and got my first period immediately. Now, I am 2 days late to start my cycle again and the preg test are negative. it is just going to be irregular or could i be pregnant? i took a FRER this afternoon and negative. it IS possible i could be pregnant. we are not using any BC and i know when i ovulated. thanks for any clues!!!!

I was really irregular when my period came back after LO1 and I had always been very regular prior to that. I only had 4 cycles before I got pregnant again, but they ranged from 21 to 33 days.

I had 9PP cycles after I had my second. They varied every month, +/- about 5 days. It could be possible that you're pregnant, but it's also possible that you just don't have a regular cycle yet.

I only had 3 or 4 periods between getting my cycle back at 15 months pp and falling pregnant six months later so it can definitely take time for your body to regulate again!

Mine was irregular for a few months, before starting to normalize within a few days of estimated start date.

thanks ladies! this is helpful! i just want my body to return to normal lol. I'm ready to be pregnant again but also content in whenever that happens whether it be now or months from now! its so hard waiting tho!

It could go either way! After DD was born and my period returned I took to taking a pregnancy test every month just to be safe!

Definitely could be irregular. It took almost 6 months for my cycles to go back to "normal" (mine are irregular anyway, but my first few pp cycles were like 40+ days instead of my normal 30-33 or so).

I was definitely irregular at first. It varied from 30 days to 38 days for a few months!

My cycle was irregular for a few months, but I've never been too consistent in the past either.

My period was very irregular after it came back, up till I eventually got pregnant again.
