My period came back 11 months after LO1. LO2 is currently 9 months and no period yet! (I got pregnant after that first period, so I've only had one since Jan 2013, I'll take it!)

Not to freak you out.....
I got pregnant 15 weeks after my second was born.
My period returned at six months with my first.
12 weeks with my second, and 11 weeks with my third.
All three were EBF.

Never. I'm pregnant with my third. I haven't had one since before my first.

I started Mirena at 8 weeks with LO1 so I'm not sure. I just got mine last month at 10 months pp from LO2.

@mrs.kiwi: I was really annoyed to still look pregnant at five months post partum. Jokes on me! She's here and wonderful though so I'm so thrilled that it's worked out this way.

Be careful out there though. I definitely didn't expect to be fertile and was not happy to be pregnant again. Happy to have another baby but not to have another big belly.

I didn't get AF for like 10 months after my first but it was around the 4-6 month mark with my 2nd. I couldn't believe it! I was nursing around the clock too.

Fifteen months pp with my first and she breastfed until she was over three, my second child is now thirteen months and I still haven't had a period which is surprising because he's mainly sttn since he was only a few months old!

With both of mine, AF returned to a 28 day cycle about 4 weeks after my post birth bleed finished and never changed. I exclusively BF, and neither ever slept through the night.

It was 8m PP with LO1 and around 7m PP with LO2. I EBF both.
