I'm just wondering what HSA plans out there are like. My friend and I are both on high deductible HSA plans, but I was really surprised to find out what her deductible, OOP, and employer contribution was. I wonder what the range of normal is?

We all have different salaries, cost-of-livings, and family sizes so I hope this doesn't get anyone bent out of shape, but I'm truly curious and think we can have an open discussion.

Individual plan (not family)
$0 in premiums
$1000 employer contribution to the HSA
$2500 deductible in network, then 80/20 coinsurance
$4000 OOP max in network

I'm actually on a family plan now but I forget the stats.
