Hellobee Boards

We are technically TG but based on a recent u/s I'm feeling 90% boy. All along LO1 says it has to be another boy and earlier LO2 called my belly baby sister. Now that we are approaching baby's arrival neither of them seems to have a strong opinion on whether they want a baby boy or girl. LO1 is turning 4 and just says he doesn't know! But he loves to talk to the baby and tell stories, etc. LO2 is only 2 so I don't know he really understands the difference or if boy or girl, its still just a baby. I'll let you know their reactions in a few weeks but so far I think not knowing is kind of fun for them!

My oldest was only 2 so she didn't really care too much. She did tel everyone she was having a "baby sister" (which she was right about). If the baby had been a boy I don't think it would have phased her in the least.

She liked feeling the baby move, guessing what it was, planning the room, etc. Still lots to keep her excited about baby coming without knowing the sex

We are TG and have a 3 y/o. She is super excited to be a big sister and I don't think that not knowing the gender has lessened the experience for her or anything. She changed her mind daily on whether she wants a brother or sister. When people ask her if she is having a brother or sister she always says "We don't know yet. It's a surprise!"
