As of age 28, I have done four Lents that were impactful long term:

- Cut out swearing and negative language (the first worked, the latter decreased)
- Cut out Facebook (did this twice)(caused me to rethink my frequency)
- Cut out soda (caused me to realize my issues with self control, denial of small pleasures, and money spent!)
- Reading Scripture regularly

If you're doing something special for Lent, what is it?

I think I'm going to be more purposeful about quality time with DH & praying together. We've put our relationship on the back burner for about 4-6 weeks now due to life events and I miss our closeness.
