How do they tend to handle defective gear within the warranty? We have a Mesa with straps that won't tighten evenly anymore (after a little over 2 months), so one side ends up loose. I'm totally kicking myself now for buying this online for the Black Friday discount, because BBB would have taken it back! If I end up having to send it back we'd be without a car seat obviously.

Any guesses how they might handle this?
