...did you wait to test until your period was late or did you test before it was even due??
We had a BC mishap this past month and I'm enough DPO along that I could test now but DH says not to so I'm not. 
It's taking ALL the patience I have, though.

I tested about 2 weeks later, I think 15 days because it was a Saturday.
I'm 33 weeks pregnant.
Eta: it was my second cycle after my period finally came back, so had no idea how long it would take for my period to start.

I had a pregnancy scare, but it would have been immaculate conception if I was pregnant. I tested when my period was very much late because that's when I noticed. I left a Nuva ring in too long.

@coopsmama: OMG! I tested when someone's lunch smelled surprisingly bad and strong.
I suppose you could test at any time.

@coopsmama: well I was going to drink that afternoon so I just wanted to rule it out to be safe. I had some expired tests left over from when I got pregnant with C, so I used one of those... Then the other expired one... Then frantically google false positive expired test and posted about it on here, THEN spent the money on a digital.

i only knew i had a mishap because i was late.... NFP and i timed wrong due to a longer cycle. so i had a negative at a couple days late, but that made me more nervous that it was a mishap because we had avoided until then.... a couple days later, positive.

@coopsmama: I only tested because my body was acting weird (very bad indigestion), I'm not great at tracking my period and we had been doing PNP with pulling out so I didn't really expect to see anything. I think my period was late but again, I'm awful at tracking.

@birdofafeather: Similar story here, but I ovulated early this month and didn't use BC four days previous. So it's a long shot but you never know! (We usually use BC until confirmed O but were on vacation - and I thought there is no way I'd O early. Silly me.)

@BandDmommy: I've only had two symptoms - cramping the last few days (which I don't have unless it's the day AF comes and then the other night my husband smelled me when I walked by him and he was like "you smell pregnant" because I have had an odd smell the first couple weeks of my other pregnancies. But no idea if this stuff is all in our heads or what. It probably is.

@Foodnerd81: That's true. So probably good not to have one because I wouldn't have cared if it were expired and then would've tested and driven myself even more crazy and continued to be in limbo!

@coopsmama: exactly. Most frustrating few hours between when I first tested, at like 6 am, and when we got ourselves ready to go out to cvs. Then c played at the park for an hour while the test burned a whole in my pocket!
Do you have a dollar store near you? Cause their tests are a dollar and accurate and you could get one tomorrow morning....

I tested because I was having mid cycle spotting which was very strange for me even while BF. I was also crampy. We had used pnp and didn't pull at the end of my period and....I was pregnant. I was only like 2 weeks post period when I got my positive and didn't expect to see anything. It ended in miscarriage but was crazy nonetheless.

@winniebee: I remember reading about your MC, but seeing the details here is freaking me out! I just had my first PP period a couple of weeks ago and we were NOT careful at the end/right after it finished up. Do you think that's when you got pregnant, or was the period a fakeout?

I thought it was prime shipping when I ordered but turns out it was just free so not nearly as fast as I was expecting!

@coopsmama: no, I typically am day 17/18. This would have been conception on day 6 (unknown ovulation date). Sorry I know that's the situation you've got! But this is how grown, educated women get pregnant, apparently!

This summer we had a little mishap but it was before AF ever returned so I assumed it was fine but took an opk to be sure and of course it was a blazing positive. We were going on vacation so I tested before we left, maybe 10 dpo and it was positive but I got AF 2 days later so I should not have tested early. Good luck (with whatever outcome you prefer!)

I tested before my period was due. I'd been having a weird metallic taste in my mouth for 2 days (which I knew was a possible early pg symptom) and so I tested mostly just to assure myself I was not pregnant. (I was totally pregnant lol).
