My friend was telling me that her law firm is becoming more family friendly lately, because clients now ask law firms to report their diversity numbers when making pitches. And diversity numbers now officially include working moms, at least at her firm! So amenities are being added, and policies changed to help attract and retain women and moms. It's a real sea change, but one that feels like an industry-wide focus given how many clients are asking for diversity numbers lately!
