@catomd00: I literally had just arrived in town for a wedding when I found out! I told one close friend and then she helped me fake it for the rest of the weekend by going to the bar and coming back with what seemed like a real drink but was actually a virgin one. It was stressful!
grapefruit / 4418 posts
@Anne825: I successfully faked my way through a work HH yesterday but it was a big one! I have a small one next week and not sure how I'll fake it.

I'm super excited that today my test line is darker than the control! I have my first appointment on the 8th. I switched doctors due to insurance and this is a nurse appointment at 6 weeks. Last time, I had my dating ultrasound and full exam at 8 weeks, so I'm not too thrilled about having to take an extra time off for a nurse appointment. Oh well. I'm going to need to take my toddler with me, so that will be loads of fun!

How is everyone feeling? I feel pretty much normal, which is making me kind of nervous!
cherry / 131 posts
@catomd00: Thanks! You too!
@MrsKRB: Feeling some weird pains-- sometimes like I've done some crunches, sometimes like a pulled muscle, sometimes a little crampy. I have the same super dry mouth I had last time, but I feel fairly normal otherwise. It's still early. I'm sure we'll all be feeling things soon enough.
grapefruit / 4418 posts
@MrsKRB: feeling fairly normal here, too! I swear by 5 weeks last time I was already feeling super nauseous. I hate sitting here just waiting to be struck with it lol. I fed have some Rlp, am tired despite DD actually sleeping for once, and light nausea Here and there. I'm less ragey than I was the first time, but that's my main symptom right now!
pea / 9 posts
@futuremama: So sorry.
@MrsKRB: I feel like I might actually be pregnant!? I'm still slowly coming to terms. Bloated and achey with some RLP, too. My boobs are starting to get tender. I took a two hour nap today (praise hands). I'm just hoping for no morning sickness! I didn't have it last time.
@Lately: I have dry mouth too! More noticeable in the morning when I wake up. I'm upping my water intake during the day now. I had it last time too!
@catomd00: Thank you! You too!
nectarine / 2465 posts
@Lately: I have the same cramps feeling. It's weird when I sneeze, I can feel a shooting cramp in my uterus.
@BLA: I've been waking up.with dry mouth too! I didn't put two and two together and think of that as a symptom
The only thing giving me peace of mind is that my beta doubled on Friday! I go back on Wednesday for my third.

Cautiously poking my head in here. We had a CP two months ago and I'm still two days away from being late!
Location: Ontario
EDD: June 14
How far along: 3 weeks 6 days. Early early!
First child? Second! My daughter is two in November.
First doctor appointment: No idea. My preferred doctor has yet to submit his schedule. They told me to call next week. With my daughter I saw him at 8 weeks, with the CP I didn't make it off the wait list before I cancelled. Hoping it'll be around 8 weeks, though! They don't do confirmation appointments here.
Any symptoms so far? Killer cramps and a backache for four days now. Similar to what it was with my daughter so hoping that's a good sign. I'm also kinda hair-trigger grumpy and swear I am already peeing a lot.
Who have you told? My husband, some online mamas.

@MrsDragon: Congrats! Looks like we're on a similar timeline (my daughter will be 2 in December, and my EDD is June 11). Here's to sticky babies!

Lots of Baby #2's so far! I'm avoiding thoughts about having a two year old and a newborn... I'm not sure what I'm getting myself into!

Ok, I kinda feel like a crazy person. I swear I am nauseous and having food aversions already. My husband made fish today and it was horrifying. I was super sick with my daughter starting at 6 weeks but I'm not even four weeks yet!
nectarine / 2465 posts
@MrsDragon: I wish I would start to feel something! I'm super nervous! Just means you have a nice strong bean in there

2nd OB apt today, HCG is doing fabulous but progesterone dropped from 18 to 7 from last week (par for the course, I've had to have supplemental shots in the past)
They did an US today but nothing was visae, since I'm barely 5 weeks were going with that it's too early to see and fingers crossed for better on Monday next week.
No spotting or anything either so

@Mrs. Pink: Yes!
I just keep taking tests every morning so I can see them still existing/getting darker -- last time I stopped as soon as I got a clear positive and was totally surprised by a CP, so I guess it's a comfort measure? My back doesn't hurt today which is nice!

Who have you told? DH and a close friend so far. It's still early and I'm scared to tell anyone (even family) before the first scan. It doesn't feel real yet!

You mamas are all so adorable! I love it.
I've been feeling so nauseated and my gag reflex has moved so far forward I have to bring my toothbrush with me for use a few hours later. I'm trying so hard not to complain but boy do I feel whiney.
Mrs Dragon I have aversions to almost every food and almost every smells of my friends's foods. It is embarrassing and bizarre.
