Does your LO get dressed when they wake up, or do they eat first?
We usually have our oldest eat first in the morning, but he's not always hungry when he wakes up. When he gets dressed, then eats, he almost always gets his clothes dirty lol. Just curious what works best for your kids in the morning.

DD gets dressed before we leave her room. She has milk right away, plays for 20ish minutes, then we all eat breakfast together. She has eggs practically every day so she doesn't get too messy.

I usually wait until after he eats to put clothes on. Sometimes it backfires because I'm so focused on getting myself ready that when we're about to leave I realize he's not dressed. And it takes longer than it should, of course.
But for the most part it works out well.
I do pick out the clothes as soon as we get up and set them out on the couch so I can do it while he's watching TV and (mostly) distracted.

A diaper change and then getting dressed are the last things we do before leaving the house in the morning. Saves us on laundry!

Weekdays we dress him and put him in the car. He gets a snack trap of cereal or a waffle to nibble on with a smoothie on the way to school.
He gets breakfast at school if he wants more to eat. He's usually not hungry first thing so the protracted two step breakfast works for him.
Weekends he eats in his pajamas and takes forever and usually makes a mess. Then we change him.
Baby is at home with me and mostly lives in PJs, LOL.

Right now we just have to get 1 ready, so it's more leisurely. She is up by 7 usually; come downstairs to drink milk/eat breakfast. Then change, hang out a little longer/finish breakfast then go to school.

We get half dressed first then eat. She gets her clothes dirty sometimes. I either leave her in the undershirt or put her art smock on her if it's particularly messy.

He has to get dressed as soon as he gets up and goes potty, otherwise it's a fight. He is almost 5 and loves being in his pajamas.

We have a very relaxed routine in the morning. My son wakes up, has some milk, does his homework and then eats a small breakfast. After that, he brushes teeth and washes face, then gets dressed as the very last thing.

Dressed first so that if we are in a rush she can take breakfast on the go. She is not that messy so it isn't an issue and if she were I would just stick a bib on her. She also has a school uniform so she can just change out of it quickly if needed.
I can't eat first thing in the morning and LO is the same.

Wake up, milk, play, change, breakfast, leave! A bib contains the mess ... usually. Haha.

We do food first before getting dressed for the day... Occasionally my older LO will get dressed first but he's not that messy so he's usually OK to not get too messy.

We get dressed first to avoid any meltdowns later + our house has lots of stairs and I don't feel like hauling him back up there. He knows once he is downstairs we are heading out the door. On the weekends, we lounge around in pajamas unless he leaked in his diaper then we just get him dressed. He isn't too messy anymore, but sometimes we do have to change his shirt.
