So, I've found myself on bed rest at the hospital due to my water breaking at 30w0d, with plans for me to get induced by 34w0d if I don't go into labor by myself before then... I'm 31w5d today, and as all the nurses/doctors tell me, everything day I can stay pregnant is a blessing, since baby appears to be doing just fine.

I've finally come to terms with and accepted that this birth and baby will be drastically different than my DS's, who turns two in less than 2 weeks, and was born full term and we went home 2 days later. Given that, I'm ready to try to learn and prepare.

I've read the posts I can on this board, but would appreciate insight on the NICU experience, since best case scenario baby will still be in the NICU for about 2 weeks. Should I get some preemie clothes, or is it easier/better to just use the hospital provided stuff until he comes home? Did any of you manage a baby in the NICU plus a toddler at home, and if so, how did that work? I saw the tips about pumping accessories which I appreciate, since I breasted my son for 13 months and would love to be able to do the same with this son.

Appreciate any tips you wonderful mommas have, or really any good thoughts and prayers sent this way. I know I am more fortunate than many, and thank my lucky stars that baby boy appears to be doing great so far, and that I am not having contractions.
