We're in the market for a vehicle. Our first LO is due in August, and we're planning to start trying for #2 the next summer. Even if we don't get #2 so close to #1, we'll likely often have both our LO plus one of my sis' LOs in our car because they are going to be very close in age. So the ability to have two RF seats is a requirement. OH is 6'4", so the driver seat would likely be nearly the whole way back in any vehicle (hence why two RF is a challenge). It also needs to have 4WD or AWD for the hilly snow covered roads. Really, really should be an SUV, van, or truck-- OH has a minor disability that makes it difficult to get in and out of cars. I have a newer Subaru Outback, and some days he struggles with that even though it is higher than most cars. I feel like we have to be the pickiest car shoppers ever! Being able to tow at least 3500lbs wouldn't be so bad either
Any recommendations?
It seems to get good reviews for driving in the snow, though. Not quite a minivan, but lower to ground than an SUV, the Ford Flex also offers AWD and three rows of seats. Ford Flex is currently near the top of our list, mainly because OH prefers Ford to GM or Toyota.
