There are always so many references to sleeping through the night, I was wondering what nighttime sleep actually looks like for everyone.

My LO is 6 months old and goes to bed between 6:30 and 7 pm. She recently learned to fall asleep on her own, so we do her bedtime routine and put her in the crib (she's usually so sleepy she just rolls onto her side and falls asleep, .but sometimes needs up to 30 mins to settle herself by rolling around and chatting to herself). Then she'll wake up once for before we go to bed at 11 and again around 4. She drinks such a small amount each time, I suspect she's just comfort eating at this point. In addition to those two wakeups, she is very active in her sleep, constantly rolling and moving, opening and rubbing her eyes and falling back to sleep. On a very bad night, she rolls herself into the corner of the crib a few times and needs us to rescue her Those nights are brutal, but hopefully just a phase and will resolve as she gets more comfortable being mobile. She wakes up for the day between 6:30 - 7 am.

What does your LO's nighttime sleep look like.?
