I was 16 and got my first job as a cashier at a supermarket.

I was 15 and I worked at a local seasonal restaurant prepping food and getting drink orders for people.

Tutoring/Grading papers at a Kumon Center

I worked at Tim Hortons.

Unless you count babysitting?

Besides baby sitting, I worked at my aunt's restaurant as a server.

Over the summer at 15 I was an assistant at a tennis club (sweeping courts, answering phones, laundry). Super glamorous stuff.

At 16 I took a job as a congressional intern. Stayed there until college.

I worked at Macy's as a stock girl! Had to go to work soooo early in the morning that summer!

At 15 I got a job at a local pizza/sandwich place. By the time I was 16 I know how to throw dough up in the air and catch it like the pros

I worked there all through high school, ended up as weekend manager and doing payroll for the company when I was 18.

I was a volunteer at the YMCA supervising the kids gym. It was fun!

I worked at a local pharmacy at the cashier! It was great because some of my best friends worked with me and the pharmacist always bought us dinner from our favorite deli the nights we worked!! I still go back and visit the pharmacist to say hi and he still gives me a discount!

I grew up in a ski resort town, and my very first job was a seasonal one--bussing tables at the day lodge of the restaurant! People are soooo messy!! It was gross but the money was pretty good (at least for my 14-year-old self!).

I became a cashier on my 16th birthday! It was a great job. I met my husband there.

A lot of you had much more interesting first job than me! I worked at a fast food restaurant starting when I was 16 until I went to college. I did work there with my best friend though!
